i did dmt and saw some pretty crazy shit but there weren't any machine elves or anything.

however, i don't reject the possibility of being able to open some sort of communication channel between us and higher dimensional sentient entities. i haven't seen it myself (it's possible that i simply haven't "broken through" to that point yet) so i can't believe it in any certainty, but in my experience that's still very much a possibility. i like mckenna but i do take everything he says with a grain of salt. he's got some fascinating ideas but he was always... a little flaky, to say the least.
