Well, if you mean I'm someone who has done that exact thing I was criticizing, I actually did start to get that way with a guy I used to be friends with but I don't talk to anymore, and then I realized how stupid I was acting and stopped projecting my fantasies on an actual person. I really did feel pretty dumb once I noticed what was wrong with what I was doing, so maybe that's why it upsets me when he talks about a girl in the same way.
