Then it's a bit redundant, methinks. Wouldn't be more efficient to say that "Sometimes, when he gets desperate, he willingly lets the demon take over him" ?

Also maybe if he lets the demon completely consume him he can never come back >_>

of coarse it does,the mask,the energy waves from the sword,black and red colors,eyes getting black,demon inside!
