Hold on, let me get this str8. This is an indie game right? You do all the work will little help from everyone else right? Because if it's independent, kudos to you on that.

As far as i know he's done all the programming and had very little help with the project in whole. He needs an animator tho, which will hopefully be me if i can find some time to make a walk cycle or two.

I've been very busy, so I wouldn't necessarily say that I'm helping, but I am making some stuff for him.

Alpha, there should be no excuse for you to not be able to. I did a snazzy run loop in maybe ten minutes the other day. If you don't want to do it, just don't.

It's not that i don't wanna do it, it's just that this whole week i haven't had any free time to animate at all. Gotta clear up my schedule.

Haha, yeah. Thanks. Arch is making some stuff for me, (He made the "Ivory Tower" background :D) and some other stuff. He's gonna re-do that background though even better.

But yea, other than that, I did everything else. :)

*EDIT*

There was a bad experience I had (The RHGG fiasco) where I learned teams just don't really work well for me when making games lol

Boom. Quick run cycle. I made 2 run cycles, one a kinda jog and the other more of a dash. Both tweened and running in 50 fps. I used that tweening thing i showed you. It also helped me find out a couple bugs. It doesn't work in AS3, and it doesn't work right in certain situations. So i might ask for your help changing it to AS3 if that's what your game runs in.
Already here's the file http://www.mediafire.com/?f8c7cpob3hwehy4 stash hates me so I'm using mediafire.

you can convert a tween to FBF animation by highlighting the tweened frames, converting them to keyframes, and then removing tween from them. The more you know.

Thanks for the effort mate, but I'm not sure your style is Concussion's. Also, how would we convert your tween code to be put into the game? It does run in as2. :)

Thanks a lot man, but I don't think that your skills are required right now, unfortunately.

Well actually it's not converting the tweens, it's converting the script I'm using in the tweens.

And GMR, I can animate different styles. That was just something quick to show my skill level. And if the game runs in AS2 then that's perfect. It should work just fine. I'm gonna play the game to see what style i should make it and make another run cycle.

I don't understand why you would be scripting anything with an animated loop. You should stick with normal tweens or frame by frame.

Well you see i made this thing that makes tween animation on stick figures easier. Instead of shape tweening lines, i just motion tween the joints of this joint system. It uses actionscript to do that. I made it because having to use shape hints annoyed me. It's also more customizable and faster to use (after getting used to it) than normal tweening. I plan to do a bit more coding and make it so you can give the stick custom builds.

Small update: Sorry guys, no update this week. Very very very busy with school stuff. Huge projects due this week and stuff. However, Arch is workin on the animations, so we'll probably see those next week. Woohoo!

In the meanwhile, simply let me know if anything's broken and keep me updated. Sweet. Chill guys.

~Out.

Again, still busy with IRL work. Finals week and some projects due. However, Christmas break is coming up (hell yeah!) so we'll probably see some major progress on those. Oh, and Arch showed me the animations. They. Look. INSANE. Amazing. Trust me.

So anyway, just tellin' ya that I'm not dead (yet anyways), and that progress is expected soon. Thanks for being understanding. :)

*EDIT*: Oh, and a small patch might be released today or tomorrow, fixing some stuff. Other then that though, don't expect much yet.

Ayy just a little announcement. Arch sent me the first basic sprites last night. I put a few of them in, and they look great.

As soon as I integrate them all into the game and some tweaks are made, I think the update will release with the animations. HELL YEAH.
