What is the point of the CA if it is worthless?

View Profile yes, this is a simple version that I used . Downward when you approach, upward when you retreat.
But Aseplayer showed me an upgrade version of super "dodge" LOL super op against CA starter. (Not going to show the replay as it was invented by Ase, credit to him XD)
For me, I invented the triangle "dodge" method against castle dead. Guess very few people know it tho.
Lol Super Dodge is 3super5me.

However I just realised that page doesn't have CA.
Edit: Now it does
CA = Castle Archer
CA3 = All 3 Castle Archers
CD = Castle Dead
Ele = Elemental Empire
Then Ele came along and ruined it for us because Ele's castle unit is an Air which also starts with A so we tend to use either
CAir or CE
For the Castle Air Elemental unit

I've never executed that one but I've seen it enough times.

View Profile Castle archer is totally not pointless. There were times where it was even more exploitable, like perfectly positioning archidons to hit miners on the first row of gold without the ca targeting it on the outer edge of the second row of gold. But it sitll has great defensive uses and plays. It's just not an absolutely answer to all problems. That's like saying a spearton is useless cause it can't target albowtross.
Castle archer is fine, don't understand the complaints. Just a few bugs with bombers and archidon run-ins, nothing to stir panic over.

dodge the CA needs micro skill
and the main purpose of CA is not to give damage, instead it is to stop your opponent from pressuring.
The only thing I don't like is that CA never able to hit bomber tho
Just what mystery said, it is for being able to pull your weak units safely (especially OvC), or crawlers' passing your swords and hitting miners instead, you can't come back everytime right? (especially OvC)
But I guess it would be good to do something like banning players from being able to build castle archer first two or three minutes. It gets really boring and long while you are playing someone who doesn't wanna win.

You lose a CA every 2 mins after buying it.
Thus infinite stalls don't happen without a lot more gold burned on Castle Archers. It would be more intuitive if CAs can't be dodged or tricked, but making them temporary ways to stop pressure would hopefully make them more of a fallback option to go back into aggression rather than their stalling or uselessness binary now.

No one wants to buy temporary units. No one would buy past CA1. The reason CA is a stallfest is because CA3 exists. CA2 should be the cap. Also maybe 600 -> 800 gold.

Guys, being able to cheese even with castle archer and castle dead so easily is stupid (yeah, I said it was easy). It's not meant to happen. Castle archer should be an absolute. Otherwise, just because one player has an archidon on the field, he gets free pokes?
The whole idea is to protect that first row of gold. If it can't do that from a simple archidon, what's the 300g trade for? As CJ said, play slipnot, and you'll understand. It needs to be fixed.

View Profile I dont think its really such an issue as it is now. Im assuming that its going to be fixed so that it shoots to where the unit would be if its moving in whatever direction, but I think it would be better if that was an actual upgrade you could get, and it could apply to all units, so archers can hit elements/crawlers/bombers/ninjas etc that are running diagonally. Also CE should then hit the ground where a unit wouldve been as it 'charges', to compensate for its OP 2-bang everything. (The burn would still hit)
They have it in aoe.
EDIT: It would apply to all ranged units. Especially fire ._.
