Well, the name gentleman's knee is a reference to captain Falcons neutral combo, which has been dubbed the gentleman by the community. The justice part is a reference to captain falcon's forward air: which has been dubbed the knee of justice.
.....and that is just how the ability works.

Also for clarification, the extra damage from gentleman's knee only applies if the word "justice" is in your name or title.

If I don't cut Xal, can Mr. F get out? And what kind of light gives Xal power? Infrared comes from any heat (I think) and if someone had bioluminescence, would they always give him power?

Xal can and will cut himself if necessary to let Mr.fluffykins out.
Mr. Fluffykins knows other ways to exit Xal's body, albeit all of them are very painful for xal.

Xal can manipulate all forms of light from any source.

I'm willing to bet I was one of the few people who read all of that... *phew* Your character's pretty cool man! I'd love to battle you! :D One day... When I'm ready... D:

Also, thanks! I wanted to make my character pretty original, from his backstory to his abilities. Although I plan on changing his story abit to make it more cliche and better explain some of his powers.

how do light attacks work? do they blind people or is it solid light?
