I still don't know why Apex would have protected the Hulk on the first round though, if he was Mafia. Raaargh, so fucking confusing.
But the consensus is that we still lynch him for incompetence right? Because right now we can't focus on anything else?

Huh, from the way you mentioned the PMs I thought Lamitrov had been going pants-on-head retarded. This just sounds like mindless chatter with good intentions: Lami's trying to figure out some way of guaranteeing no one dies when Hulk transforms. I wonder why he didn't just discuss this all in the thread.
Dec 9, 2015 1:38 PM #1421943
Well sure you'd say it is innocent banter seeing how you took over his role. I'll let Exilement decide. Even if he discussed this with the Hulk, the fact that he didn't discuss it with Exilement is still dodgy.
Dec 9, 2015 1:46 PM #1421945
Discussing this in the thread would have been awful IMO
He should have reported to Exile.
He should have reported to Exile.
Dec 9, 2015 1:49 PM #1421946
It really troubled me when Exile said Lami hadn't reported a plan like that to him at all. I mean, wouldn't you tell Exile first and then decide? What if I had been Mafia?
Then again, I'm realizing that 'communication with Exile about plans' is something that many players have not followed up on, and I don't know if I'm abnormal for expecting them to do this. Its like someone asking you a question that could be easily googled. You'd think a non-retarded person would do it, but for some reason, they don't.

That's true, actually. Disregard me :p
He really should have discussed it with Exile--it was dumb of Lami not to. But it's not like the Mafia gained anything by saying it in secret either for reasons I brought up way in my defence post.
I'll wait for Exile to give his two cents.
Edit: My shift at work is over. Gotta go for now.
Edit 2: Going to bed. For tonight, my vote stays on Apex for this reason:
There's no excusing this.

he said he was going to protect Boomer last night, changed his mind at the very last second and didn't tell me who his new target is. I genuinely can't think of a reason to keep him around.

I guess I should have given a name, that would have been more helpful. My bad!

it's simple, he wanted to concoct some kind of plan involving his ability and he came up with "I'll protect hulk while someone else attacks him". the end-goal is plausible deniability in case he's tracked during the night in any way and to generate confusion over 3 players dying in one night.

I still think the fact that Lami was giving out instructions to other players without even attempting to contact me is extremely strange, but like Devour said that move is so blatantly suspicious that it's hard to believe he'd take that risk.

It's like both Lami and Apex forgot to consult with the person you're supposed to consult with. Bah, what a mess.

I was looking at the people who changed their minds easily from 'Apex' to 'Raptor'.
Nish - I always said it was down to Raptor or Apex and I would vote for whichever one the majority voted for. I should have waited for Exile to vote too but I think Mantha's intel comment swayed me. No matter.
Devour - Pretty much the same as me. Made it clear that he'd rather vote for someone who is Mafia than someone for sheer incompetence.
Jelly - Needed convincing from Mantha. But when she pointed out Raptor was always dodging questions, he voted.
Thats bring me to...
@Devi Can you tell us why you unvoted and voted Raptor, please? Did you just find the arguments sufficiently moved? You didn't make a case either way.
and
@Zero: Can you tell us what exactly you saw that made you change your vote? Your question to the others makes it clear that you still may not think the evidence is sufficient, but you had no problem unvoting Apex and voting Raptor. You wanted to know why it was such a big deal, but had no problem changing your vote.

I'm curious though, why do you guys think it's such a big deal he hasn't answered that question?
EDIT: Also, Boomerang, I'll use this opportunity to ask you. Have you used your Scry ability yet? I believe you should do it ASAP before you die.

Apex, that screenshot didn't tell us anything and you haven't been cooperating properly. I don't even know what to say to this, oh my god.
Well you just said it lol.

And that goes double for you Apex. Check yourselves.

Apex, surely you can see WHY I got mad? Your actions have brought us to disaster because you didn't follow the simple option of reporting to Exile, and you're still being really lackadaisical about the whole affair. Anyway, I am sorry for calling you an asshole. You're not. But you are outta here. But sorry again for seeming personal because I feel bad for saying that.

I understand that I made people angry. "lacking enthusiasm and determination; carelessly lazy." I was really enthusiastic and determined about it when I signed up for it maybe not as much as you but I was. But then the game started and I was like the tree and the lot of you were like woodpeckers chipping away. The name calling didn't make me angry as much as the fact that you seem to think I was trying to suggest I was the victim and gather some "pity" I don't need pity from anyone. It would be pointless if I was been kept around on the account that "we felt bad" or "sorry" because then I wouldn't be the game because of my contributions/actions. I only stayed because I've always wanted to participate in Hewitt's games also out of respect for him but I don't know what happened along the way. I would say next time I'd be fully keen and play the game like you guys are playing it but I think this is his last game so yeah...
tl;dr
I'm sorry for responding out of place by associating you with the top of a penis.

But.. but... you forgot we were supposed to report to Exile... then you changed your mind and didn't tell him who the new target was... and you just didn't respond properly to a lot of the accusations... Exile gave you instructions publicly, as Jelly pointed out, which you didn't heed and you don't seem to have even read... I really love you bro, but you're making it hard to believe that you were playing the game with any enthusiasm at all.
Anyway, thats all good, and its in the past. I think this game has enough twists and turns for Hewitt to consider making another game. He'll be around.

I didn't make a case because I had discussed it with everyone on Skype at the time, so it was pretty much the exact reason as them. Heck, you can ask Mantha or Devour, they were there.
Pretty weird that Lami was just contacting you, Nish. I mean, what did he hope to achieve is what I wonder. But that reminds me, when Lamitrov was replaced, did that mean his role was transferred to his replacement (devour) so if Lami was a skull then Devour would become one? I'm legitimately not sure. If it is like i think, and since Lamitrov was acting as suspicious as he was, wouldn't our best target be devour? Honestly, I'm still not 100% percent sure about lynching Apex, but I suppose his extreme uninterested play style makes so real benefit for us and certainly less enjoyable.
#Vote Apex
I'm still suspicious.

Devi, did you read my defence post? I don't see how you can think that so strongly after I've explained how that can't be the case.
We have only tried to lynch people who play actively (Except for Apex finally). Folks who post a lot, PM or otherwise, are the ones who are scrutinized. They're the ones who get accusations because they're the only ones with content to accuse.
But the thing is, active players are almost always Town because they need to be active to find out who the Mafia is. The Mafia almost always hides under the radar and survives until lategame because of it. We seriously need to be suspicious of those who have flown under the radar without scrutiny all game long. Namely, Envoy and Devi.
