"I hope you noticed, as the group's medic, that Synthia never once went for a lethal blow. Despite how blood thirsty she became she never once tried to kill any of you."
Landon turned to Draou.
"Hey, wanna participate in training? If so then take one of these."
With that assistants came out of each room holding a platter with a singular rock on it. The assistants handed the platters out to everyone in the group.
"These rocks are weighted to be equal for everyone. The objective of this mission is to hold the platter out in front of you at full length, furthest you can hold it. The rock will weigh it down making it harder and harder to hold it steady the longer it remains at length. If a single rock falls to the floor then the group will have failed the objective."
One of the assistants then walked up to Landon and handed him a cell phone. "It seemed important Mister Landon, and you weren't in your office so I just... brought it to you..."
"Hello, Landon speaking." he spoke calmly into the phone.
The vehicle slammed into Hollow's arm, the metal bending slightly around the limb from the sheer force of the toss. Vi's razor legs swept along the upper thigh of the demon, raking across the monster's flesh. However they left nothing more than a slight scratch, barely enough to draw blood. The monster seemed somewhat dazed, as if the transition from human to demon took some kind of mental toll on it. Either that or the fact that it just got shot with a rail gun had it buzzed.
Suddenly a voice spoke over Meredith's headset.
"Hello, Landon speaking."
