Vi looked at the building, a hole that wasn't there before got her attention "Are you serious..." she said quietly. Poking Magnus she pointed at the gigantic hole, "I think out objective is right there.... guess I should've used the stairs this time" she said moving forwards to the hole. Being cautious and aware of her senses, if the thing was as big as the man said, it should be easy to know if the thing was inside the building or not.

Bulwark turned hearing the Horrid screech of whatever was with them, and then he watched as the truck they came here in was slammed into the only exit they had. He conjured his shields and prepared for whatever was coming.
He looked to Cecile as he heard the grow followed by the noise of a creature climbing.

"Cecile were not alone in here, get ready for whatever trapped us".

He looked around and noticed Izzy never came in and sighed
"hope Izzys alright outside, surly hes safer than we are".

Frank had calmed down from his deadly philosophic rage, and leaned against the wall.
"You know what guys, I'm done fighting for now. Go kill whatever it is, be my guest."
He sat down, finally being able to philosophize for a little while and think from all the stress. Taking a blood-stained crimson pencil from his bag, he carefully took out his notepad, paused for a little while, then began to write.

Cecile looked up from around her and laid Landon down gently. "Don't worry, Landon, we'll take care of the creature," she said reassuringly.

In all honesty to herself, the roar was unsettling.

Memento was brought up to bear and one her pistols was taken into her hands. She approached Bulwark, ready to fight. "Yeah, at least Izzy is outside. He doesn't need to see any more of this... where is Theman? Is he outside too?"

Magnus watched Virachne crawl up into the hole, then leapt up to it himself, falling short a foot or two.
He grabbed the ledge, and pulled himself up, standing behind Vi.
Sniffing, he cringed, "Ugh, smells terrible in here..." he stated out loud. Looking at the blood trail, he pointed where it lead.
"If we wanna find the creature, we should probably follow that trail..."

Amanita's head was throbbing in pain, feeling like it's about to explode. Woke up from unconsciousness and yet she still has no idea what's going on despite Izzy's brief analysis on the current situation. Something about a black-tentacled monster with teeth, and death and blood. Everything's happening too fast that it's hard for her to catch up. Upon seeing Magnus and Vi, who seems to be entering a hole, she called out to them for their attention.

"Hey, Magnus! Vi-" she abruptly and violently coughed in her hands. Spots of blood were found on her palms and wiped them off on her pants. She didn't want to worry Izzy even further after what he went through, it's best to keep it personal.

Frank looked up.
"Do tell? What have you been thinking about recently? Study any poets, scholars, theorists? It's been a while since I've met a lover of philosophy."

Ignoring the nerdy ramblings of Frank and the dragon man, Meredith remained silent, taking a long drag of her e-cigarette. Despite quiting real ones for more than a year, this didn't stop the cravings.

Her nerves were shot. Her hand was shaking.
"Such bullocks..." she muttered, laced with her original accent.

Walking down the hallway, Magnus sighed, "Me too, I've kind of had enough "Team Bonding" for one day..." He said team bonding with air quotes, looking down at Vi as he said it.

He sighed again, "Hey Vi, um... Not if this is the right time, but thanks for forgiving me for making those blunders earlier. I know I can be prideful and clumsy, so, uh... Thanks for looking past that stuff..." He said, twiddling his thumbs.

Izzy tried to concentrate and wiped off his tears. "We need to go open up the exit." He got out of the truck and ran to the entrance, looking at the wedged car against the door. He needed to lever it out with something and he got down on his hands and knees to see if there were any cracks he could fit candy into and begin enlarging to get the car out of the way. "I'm coming Cece, Mr. Shield, and Mr. Superhero." He whispered as he scrounged about, being safe to avoid shards of glass, sifting them away with his mittens.

Bulwark scanned the room to see if he could spot any thing but to no avail. He looked to Cecile and said
"whatever it is we have to be prep.....".
Before he could finish he was cut short by the loud clang that came from the above. His eyes darted around looking at the cement above them waiting for something to pop out.
what's up there, what are we even facing, what would be able to take Landon down like that.

"We can't even be sure, Bulwark," Cecile muttered. "It feels as if its on the top floors, possibly able to climb."

Memento began to emit a slight mist, her powers channeled towards the blood-veined scimitar. Her eyes darted from wall to wall, trying to discern anything. Opting for a more offensive approach, the medic began to coat the walls in a layer of frost.

"Let's see if it can climb on slippery surfaces," she said. "Assuming it can't fly..."
