I'd rather see more upgrades for melee units or reduced cooldowns on the current ones to bring melee units into the mid game instead. However that still wouldn't help out Albowtrosses which was the point of this thread.

It'd be a good idea to list every strength and weakness of the albows in one consolidated post so that it's not only an easy read but we can then use that to go off of.

Kind of as crawlers vs swords alone is in favor of swords if we think about it only in that aspect.

Albow's strengths: High damage output, Flyer, Armored, Armor piercing, burn
Weaknesses: A bit costly, High population, Long que time, slow

One fun thing about albows is that they have the right amount of speed to chase and constantly fire on retreating giants. However, if you're taking an engagement on the map and are in a position to be chased by albows you've done something horribly wrong.

What happens if we increase their speed just slightly?

Ele has a harder time landing scorch and Chaos slightly harder landing bombs. OvO I don't think anything significant would happen so I'd say that would just be a fairly negligible Order buff.

Why would you scorch albows when you can use just a few cycloids?
Bombs are pretty quick so I don't imagine it being too drastic myself. Perhaps making it easier to approach deads without too much fear of this.

I may have suggested this elsewhere, but how about giving the Albows the ability to deal slightly more damage against burning units?
