"That's a good question...a better question though is...What were you two doing while I was gone? Patient Pacale...you might want to wear a top...or not," Nurse joked.
Pascale looked down to see she was still in her underwear and immediately bloomed red before quickly hiding herself under the sheets.
"Cute..."

"Talking," Nil says bluntly. "Friends talk. Friends worry. Believe it or not, not everybody is a pervert. Do you have her clothes dried out?" Nil seems to be a lot less flustered than last night,

Nurse smiled.
"That's not all friends do."
Without further delay, Nurse held up her other hand, in it was a bag holding Pascale's clothes, freshly dried and pressed.
"You two must be starving, they're breakfast in here," she said, handing them the other bag.
Without delay, Pascale crawled out of the bed, wrapping the sheet around her, taking her clothes and headed into the bathroom.

Nil looked to Nurse. "What're you after? What's your endgame here?"

Nurse barely responded, instead continuing to scribble in her notes.
In her usual monotone voice, she spoke without turning around.
"My endgame? I'm just a lowly school nurse with some...side projects to pass the time. All I want to do is promote Health and Welfare throughout the school and its students."

Nil doesn't believe her for a second, but deciding that further confrontation was essentially useless, he decides to just drop it and take the food. After all, he really was hungry, and chances are she wasn't going to poison him. He hoped. You could never tell. Lack of sleep may have also been a factor.

"Don't forget the girl," Nurse added, "When you two are ready to go to class, there is a note there for both of you to absolve you of any absences or tardiness."

Nathaniel scratched the back of his head as he walked to the trolley station, the rain pattering on his umbrella's canopy. It was an eventful day, and he worried for Chi. She had ran away after they had all met up in the computer room. She must be soaking wet right now... He hoped Nil and Pascale got to the nurse's relatively dry as well. He contemplated the idea of being leader, sounded nice, but if that mission was his first as leader... the results weren't stellar.

He fed his siblings dinner then the cookies before going to sleep, his chest still ached.

He went to school and noticed how down Chi looked, he wanted to approach her but decided to give her time to recover first. However he saw her at lunch and noticed that she was still down. She must be blaming herself for what happened yesterday. The boy sighed. The teenager bought a chilled can of coffee from the vending machine and snuck up behind her, placing his finger on his lips to shush Aiko. He crept up and calmly placed the cold aluminum can against her cheek. "Want to talk about it?" Nathaniel asked as he sat down next to her, resting his elbow on the table and his head on his hand so he could face her.

As Nathaniel was approaching, Aiko turned to him, but when shushed, he just tilted his head and remained quiet, yet he kept his eye on the boy.

When something cold suddenly touched her cheek, she jumped on her sit, getting up so fast, almost spilling all her coffee, as if someone stepped on a rake. When she turned with a surprised and confused look on her face, Aiko rattled.

"Funny Hair."

"Ugh...Don't creep on me like that...please..." She sat back down, and her frown reappeared. "Talk about what, exactly...?" She wasn't really ready to face her friends yet, so she decided to play for at least those few more seconds, to come up with anything...

He chuckled, "Sorry sorry forgive me." And slid the can over to her. "How about the fact you ran away in the rain. I'm sure Aiko wasn't happy getting wet. Why didn't you just wait for me to take you to your dorm? You could've gotten a cold." Nathaniel sighed and his eyes looked at her with concern. "Why are you punishing yourself for living? You did what you could and what you were asked of. So why are you so sad?"

Aiko strongly flapped his wings twice, as a sign of agree when he heard Nathan talking about the rain.

"It's just that..." Chi started staggering "I wanted to go to this whole Lyoko so much, that I pretty much ignored everything and everyone else... And I saw, and knew what condition Pascale was in..."

She sighed loudly.

"We all went in at the end, for absolutely no reason, but me wanting to..." She stopped, and even Aiko looked at her askance. " I-I mean...have you heard Sora, after he left? ...All of you suffered so much, just because of MY selfishness. EVERYONE got hurt, but the person which truly deserved it..."

She covered her face with her hands and leaned backwards, letting an irritated, quiet moan. When she came back to her previous position, her face was almost expressionless, as she was "starring" at the ground next to her feet"

"I know it doesn't justify my actions in any way but..." Her voice got much, much lower now. "It's been nine years since...nine...freaking, years..." For a short moment, a painful grimace appeared on her face, and she clenched her hands on the bench. However the expression quickly disappeared, and she turned towards Nathaniel again. "S-sorry...I-I shouldn't..."

Nathaniel hugged Chi, "Shhh... it's not your fault. I told you to run, you did nothing wrong but listen." He patted her on the back, before grabbing her by the shoulders and making her look at him. "We all decided to go together, we knew the risks from last time, you need to stop blaming yourself for any of this." He smiled gently.

"It's not even about me running! Just...None of this would happen if not me..."

Aiko rattled quietly.

"...The break is almost over...let's just go to the class..." She sighed, got up, and headed in the direction of her next period's room.
