She won't lie she was a little bit mad at Pascale...First Aiko, now she... Yet still, being here among Pascale and Sora - two people that probably got it the worst yesterday, made her feel more mad at herself, than she could possibly be mad at Pascale. She at least did her thing with good intentions for everyone, while Chi was thinking only about herself.
"So...It looks like our trains of thought are not so different..." She said to Pascale. " I'd bet it has something to do with that computer as well...Since...you know...Last time weird stuff happened, it was that, right?" Slight awkward smile appeared on her face.
"Anyway, from what i know, the rest is at nurse's office..." She frowned. "Although if Nathan really got hit by one of these things, i don't think he'll be able to go...so...The faster we fix it the better, right?"

"...." Nil stares at her blankly. "...seriously? Are you seriously asking me to do this? Seriously? Nurse, there're limits to the stuff you can get away with, and I'm pretty sure this is going right past several of them."

"Fine, at least he'll live," reasoned Nurse as she continued to get what she needed from the cabinet without looking back at him, "I only have 2 hands, Tim is a klutz, and I don't know if you noticed but Maddie's other arm is broken. Now stop wasting time, he doesn't have a lot of it left."
A wave of relief specked with a foamy guilt washed over Pascale, Mother knew best after all. They didn't hate her like her other friends. Maybe they were different.
"The computer, it had the ability to reverse time remember? We could just stop all of this from happpening!"

Nil looks at her, then at Nathaniel, then Ms. K, then Tim, then back to Nathaniel, finally bringing his eyes back to Nurse. He felt a twitch of annoyance, but somehow, it was overtaken by genuine concern, though he was still frustrated. "Dammit," he swears, grabbing the needle and heading over to his fallen comrade. He looked at the needle in his hand, and gulped, it feeling shockingly heavy. "I really hope this works, Nathaniel."
Lightly pressing the needle over Nathaniel's heart, he lifts it up, then jams it down, careful to avoid the ribs so that the needle fully pierces, hitting the plunger and injecting the blue liquid. "If he doesn't make it, I'm not forgiving you, Nurse. No talking it out, no forgiveness."

Sora no longer had any emotion in his voice, although there never a large amount anyway, "Alright. We should hurry up and find the others so we can get going then."
Able to finally clear his mind, Sora was able to reflect on the information sweeping through his head in the moment and actually make some sense of it. Not only that, but the pain in his eyes was no longer existent. He would've been quite happy in noticing this if it was not for his old lack of excitement diluting any real sense of triumph. The truth was that he found that he was more comfortable with the option not to feel anyway. Without his feelings getting in the way of his concentration, he could actually make himself useful instead of being a negative outlet towards the group in his actions.

"Shut the hell up, Nil," said Nurse in her typical deadpan voice, although it was laced with an unusual amount of anger. It had been a while since someone had gotten under her skin. "I don't deal in 'if's and nobody dies in my office," she said as she pulled out a new empty needle and stabbed it into Nathan's swollen chest. She pulled the plunger up and blood and fluid began draining from his injury into a large bottle.
"The syringe you gave him is a blend of adrenaline and painkiller, it should've stopped the bleeding, while I just drained the excess fluid. She pulled the needle out, doused a piece of gauze with a strange green gel and placed it on the exposed rib and puncture point, wrapping it with adhesives.
"He should be stabilized now, but he needs surgery and I don't have the tools here to do it...Nil...keep him calm while I tend to Maddie."
Pascale shook her head and pointed to the door heading outside toward the courtyard.
"Sora, we need to go to factory. If we waste anymore time, even more people could get hurt and we might not make it out unscathed too."

"I would, Nurse," Nil says, "but I've got something I have to take care of. You said it was adrenaline and painkillers? Good, he'll calm down long enough. I've gotta get going." And he heads out, running to get to the factory. The others would likely be there or on their way, and he needed to make sure he was around to help.

"Alright, I see what you mean, but that means they're going to have to make their way there themselves... and we may not have enough people. If you're willing to risk that, then I can't disagree with you. I'm ready when you all are." After speaking somewhat quickly, Sora then turned towards the door without any other objections.

Nathaniel's eyes snapped into focus as the medicine began flowing. However the lack of blood still kept him dazed in the bed. He listened to what the nurse said and his breath was frail as his voice was weak. "My mother is going to kill me when she sees me at her job as a patient..." He watched Nil walk out and wondered where he went. "Hey Mr. Jim, sorry about bleeding on you." He looked over, a smile creased across his face and wrinkles crinkled around his eyes. He felt relatively calm now that he had escaped death, but now he could do nothing but lay there. He kept the compress to his wound and just focused on breathing, sleep eluding him thanks to the adrenaline that was flowing through his system. His eyes trailed to look out the window and he stared at the baby blue sky.

For the rest of the chaos, Robert was to focused on trying not to get hit by the pitching machines than asking what was going on, but when the chaos finally came to a close he saw someone head out the door, with a girl to the courtyard. I wonder what they would be doing in a time like this? Robert thought, and sneakily followed them to know what they were going to do.

"How do you deal with this kid?" asked Nurse as she began wrapping up Ms. K's shoulder.
Ms. K snickered, "Been forever since some body got on your nerves, Penny."
"Oh?"
A loud crack filled the room as Ms. K screamed when Nurse forcibly relocated her shoulder.
"Yeah, he's just like you Maddie..."
Pascale pulled herself up on the computer as the elevator on a lower floor opened to the scanner room as Chubs, Chi, and Sora walked out. A tired Nil, luckily managing to avoid the pitching machines that were previously chasing Pascale and Friends, had finally reached the Bridge. Robert, curious as to where he was going, followed Nil, a few meters behind him.

Nil takes a breather, thoroughly exhausted from the day's events that just kept on stacking. He proceeded to glance around, making sure none of those weird machines had followed him.

"So where are you headed to?" Robert asked within earshot of Nil, even though he knew that this would blow his cover. Robert then put his right hand on his right hoodie pocket. "So are you going to answer the question?" Robert asked again.
Feb 25, 2016 12:47 AM #1439434
Nil tensed. "Depends a lot on who is asking. And why. " Talking to strangers wasn't on his agenda at the momwnt, and he didn't need to deal with some random peron butting into his business. He had enough on his mind already.

"I'm just curious thats all. So are going to answer my question?" Robert asked politely. Just answer the damn question! Robert thought, since he doesn't like long conversation, and this appeared that it would take a while
