Sora had been calmly meditating amidst the peace and quiet of the deserted clearing he had taken somewhat of a fancy to visiting. That is, he was meditating calmly... up until the point where the ground began to shake slightly.
Immediately jumping up and landing with his feet planted evenly on the ground, Sora grabbed his staff currently lying against one of the nearby trees. Power walking over to the rest of his gear, he flung the duffle bag to hand from his opposite shoulder as he made a short jump to get on the skateboard. After that, all it took was a light push and he was off, making his way back to the school in order to figure out what was going on.
Thinking to himself as he sped through the park grounds, Sora counted some quick numbers in his head as he maneuvered between the web of trees, still not quite on the path.
Light tremors... more than 2 pulses... doesn't seem like a normal burst to me...
Sora's thought process was suddenly interrupted with the path coming into view. Expression and thoughts still almost perfectly emotionless, as no one was around to judge him, he casually made his way towards the path's opening. Just 30ft from breaking out of the treeline, he suddenly noticed a kid moving along the trail... alone. Sora didn't feel particularly bothered by this, even preparing to turn his skateboard slightly to meet up with the individual and maybe figure out what was going on, when he suddenly got a good view of the guy's face. Immediately remembering the "stranger" to be the queer, overly curious student he had seen before at Kendo club, Sora squinted slightly as he double checked the student's face in mild disbelief.
Silently hopping off his skateboard before he could go into the guy's vision, Sora turned to hide behind a tree until he passed. While normally he would have no problem talking to the individual, even with his somewhat disturbing first impressions, the direction he was going from was particularly concerning. The only real place to go along the trail he was on was to the factory... and a random student like him would certainly not have business there... but "Robert" was no random student. The guy had unknowingly revealed he was connected to the whole virtual world dilemma at Kendo club, something Sora simply couldn't ignore.
Tossing around the idea of confronting the guy in his mind before he passed, Sora's overly trusting side eventually took over. Robert had to know what was going on... especially due to the fact that he had almost certainly just visited the factory somehow, which removed the chance of reliably speaking to him later about the issue.
Skateboarding between the mass of trees a ways off from the trail until he was in front of Robert, Sora suddenly slid out from the side of the trail, stopping in the middle of the path about 40ft ahead of the guy. Getting off his skateboard, Sora swiftly kicked it up with his right foot, easily catching it with his left hand. Tucking the wheeled board under one arm, he turned to face Robert walking towards his position.
Waving at Robert with a welcoming smile on his face, Sora quickly called out in loud but somewhat cheerful voice, "Hey, mind if I talk to ya for a sec? I can't seem to figure out what's going on!"
