"Oh its nothing. I just heard someone play music really loud, all the way from the cafeteria, and I decided to investigate... It appears that the source are your headphones..." Chi smiled slightly, and placed her chin on her crossed arms. "No, I'm just kidding..."

"But seriously now...Mind telling me what's up with you and your sister?" Poor choice of words... "I mean...You seem to be very down lately, and I'm just wondering what might be the reason of it. You almost jumped to Agatha's throat there..." Somehow, Chi managed to lock her eyes with Pascale's. Years of practice...

She was frowning slightly, as her face took more serious expression, and appeared to be genuinely concerned.

"Why wouldn't I need you?" Nil asks. "I've only gotten what we have done so far completed because of you. Without you, I'd be in a much worse position. Yes, Agatha, I need, welcome, and appreciate your help, and I hope that whatever is going on doesn't discourage you from believing this." He finishes his food. "I'll go speak with Ms. Basil. Take some time and work out your feelings. I'll see you back in class, alright?"

Agatha smiled once more, "I didn't...mean it like that, just for lunch really, is all I meant...but thanks. See you in class Nil."

Pascale paused the music.
"3 years...she's gone for 3 years and she thinks she can just come in and dictate my life? I can't stand it and I can't stand her. Not anymore, not when she's lying to my face."

Ugh, what am I doing...

Briefly rubbing his neck with one hand, Sora sat down with a mild frown on his face.

"I'm sorry to bring down the mood, but I'd like to know why you haven't decided to inform me about being replaced."

Confused at first, Chi slightly rose her head.

So that was the thing they were talking about...

"Well...You haven't seen her for some time, she haven't seen you...Things might have changed for both of you guys... It'll probably take some time to get used to each other again..." She looked to the side and gloomed a little. "However, unfortunately I don't really know what kind of relation you had with her before...nor how to deal with siblings in general...But im pretty sure she meant no harm, whatever she did. You are a family after all, right...? Also, she was in total shock after you left her there..."

"Good...I'm tired of seeing her stupid smile. Now she knows how I feel, "cursed Pascale as she looked back at the computer screen, "I hate her."

Lyora and Kyle continued playing video games while Frenchy stood up from the table.
"Jeeze, now you're just running up the scoreboard!" complained Kyle as he brushed his hand through his hair.
"Sora, meet me outside?" she ordered, walking outside herself, she seemed to radiate a strange aura.

Following Frenchy, Sora silently threw his lunch away with one hand while pulling out a sharpened pencil with the other. Taking out a piece of scrap paper with the numbers 1 through 4 listed in neat order from the low side pocket on his left pant leg, he added the number 5 to the end before putting the paper away a moment later.

Here I go, making things way more bothersome than they have to be... "Great job."

Sora felt a familiar pang of guilt for taking too many precautions despite his forced paranoia. Sliding the writing utensil in his top right pocket, he made his way over to where the Pres. was located.

Frenchy looked at Sora with cold analtyical eyes.
"That's the way you should be feeling Sora. Honestly, I expected better from you that Eavesdropping on your fellow council members." she accused without paused.

Chi sighed and hung down her head.

This is pointless, she needs to cool down...

"Well...The lunch is almost over... I should be on my way..." She said, slowly getting up. " I hope you and Agatha will figure it out eventually...And sorry that I can't help..." Chi turned and headed to the door, but stopped in the jamb, and faced Pascale once more. "Just remember that she's your family...You can't choose it, and no matter how bothersome someone is, as long as he can, he'll be there to help you...Even if you're sure that he won't..." She opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something more, but eventually refrained and just left the class.

"See you after school."

Sora looked back with a blank expression on his face. He was already tired out from the built up stress in the past few days, so faking emotions would be both dishonest and quite impossible in the condition he was in.

"I'm sorry, but I made that choice myself, and it was crystal clear to me when it was first mentioned. Just as clear as it is now."

When what he had originally meant to say dawned on him, Sora fought off his depression for a moment before speaking again, "I just want to let you know that if I'm... well... if I'm useless to all of you, I'll leave so I don't get in your way. I joined Student Council so I could participate in something that would make a real difference and help people as best as I could... that's all I ever wanted to do anyway."

"As expected you don't deny it, although I'd prefer it if you didn't jump to conclusions. After all, you were listening, I did vouch for you didn't I? Isn't that what trust is?"
Frenchy brushed an errant strand of hair from her face and starred directly into Sora's eyes.
"Trust is a 2 way street Sora, you didn't trust me at all with this and yet you want me to trust you? To help people and make a real difference? Sora, you don't really believe that do you? You might want it, but your eyes don't really care...Nonetheless, I would appreciate it if you trusted me, even if you lie to my face."

"I'm not lying. I trusted you a great deal... I actually still do. Listening in without telling you had nothing to do with that. I couldn't bring myself to ask face to face without knowing for sure."

Sighing, Sora grimaced slightly, face still generally emotionless, "I don't have the option to feel... I can't. It doesn't matter how hard I try, it's not possible. I lost touch with keeping myself happy a long time back. Making others exist in a more positive environment, no matter how small of a change it really is, is all I can do to make something good of myself. I don't care how stupid it sounds, that's the truth of it."

Shaking slightly, Sora raised his hand to stare at it for a moment in formless despair before dropping it down and looking back at Frenchy with the same blank expression, "Eyes are the least of my worries. Do you think I would look like this if I had the choice?!" Sora's eyes suddenly widened. Still just as blank as before, they seemed to lose focus for a brief second. Quickly shaking his head, he put both hands to either side of his skull to try and blur out the pain as he instantly regretted blurting out what he should've never said in the first place.

Looking back at Frenchy again with his original expression, Sora was about to say something else, but his mouth had involuntarily forced itself shut in response to his attempt. Speaking slowly, he continued in a strained voice, "Forget I said that... I have faith in whatever decision you end up making being the best one... Sorry for wasting your time."

Frenchy smiled and took Sora's hands.
"Don't ever question my integrity again."
She dropped his hands and turned away.
"And don't bother coming to the Council today, we aren't meeting today and you've got to go to the Technology Club."

Nil was once again practicing in Kendo, and feeling very lively. Almost too lively. There were too many things on his mind, too many conflicting emotions he didn't understand, so he sought to drown them out in the burning sting of his muscles as he worked his body harder than usual. He went through each of the katas he'd been taught, faster and faster, the steps flowing like water as his muscles work off of memory and instinct rather than his conscious thought. He and his blade were one, and there was no disconnect between his fluid-like movements. This was what he enjoyed doing the most, where everything made the most sense to him, and slowly, all the confusing thoughts of Agatha, of Pascale, of Nurse, of Lyoko, of the Samurai, of being alone, faded away into a clear haze.

Doing his best to not worry about his obligations outside of school, Sora made his way to the computer lab without any second thoughts. While he would be sure to address the issue of removing the memory of the conversation before his next report entry, the need to get his school duties finished helped keep his mind off the troubling matter. Now that the process was taking care of his decisions again, he didn't have to worry about accidentally throwing himself into awkward situations for the time being.

Walking through the open door, Sora furrowed his brow slightly when he noticed Ms. Basil was the only person besides himself in the otherwise vacant area. Waiting patiently for the teacher to finish talking on her phone, he glanced back at the door and around the room in search of any notifications of where the Technology Club was meeting at the time.
