Awesome track. The synth is done well and tastefully. I particularly like the bridge where the keyboard played in; really, that set the mood for the whole song, for me. What I like is that they hit that sweet spot between airy and beautiful yet still getting your pulse to race. I'm not a huge fan of total raging synth music, but neither to I like the ultra abstract work that many musicians make when they try synth. I have to agree with Vorpal in that this is certainly a great gaming track.

With that said, here's my first drop in. Happens to be playing on the radio, so I thought I'd toss it in here for you guys.

This has a very quite feel to it, and it's so peaceful... until later of course. The beat is so awesome!!! I like it. The guy has a good singing voice and the rhythm is good. The music video is good too, I like their suits in the music video. And those trumpets though! So awesome. Everything fits together so perfectly! The trumpets, the singing, the drums all fit together so well! I am quite impressed. This is a good song for parties in my opinion.
My turn.

oh , yes , yes , this is a classical goodie , it been sitting still on my hard-drive for like , forever , actually , the first band that i liked after the era of Anime Ost fanboy-ing. and also , because of this song , i got a damn good grade on my english shubject , that was a reading practice (this was in elementary school), and because i like this song a lot , and try to sing it along , i automatically get used to fast reading , even tough the song is not that fast , in E.S , i was the fastest person.

and my teacher be like " you speak good" and then good grade.

so yeah , beat is nice , the mixing of piano with rock , with rap , and everything , and the lyric are so poetic, according to me and a lot of people here. this is a classical goodie.

Damn. I'm a dog person, so that video gets tons of creds for me anyway. Hell, I'd watch that video without the music! Anyhow, I like the music. I like the tonal quality of the instrumental parts -- it was interesting. I like the guy's voice, and he also get's extra creds in my book for doing a relatively simple song. Nice easy listening when you're cruising around on a spring day. I will definitely be looking into this artist!

And now, here is a song from one of my all time favorite groups, Needtobreathe (feat. Gavin DeGraw):

Why do you guys keep replying with quotes? It's like I'm seeing double of every video in this thread. The only reason you should ever reply with quotes is if the next post is not the one you're replying to.

Such as the one that might come after this

This is very relaxing, but also kind of sad. The guy sings like he is in trouble, yet he still manages to make the song peaceful. The song is a good song to listen anywhere I go, because it is so tranquil and there is hardly anything bad you can say about this song. It's a beautiful song that shows not all songs that are popular are about drugs or love or money. I would have played the song on full blast but I don't want to harm the people near me.

Well, here is another song I found,

Well, here is another song I found,

Dubmood huh?
Guess I'll give it a listen. The beats and synth are on point and the way the song flows with the speed is nice, I'm tappin' my feet, but I can't help but feel like it's missing that epic climax. Perhaps that's the point though, maybe it's best at times to listen to some EDM without the sudden bass drops that knock you clean out of your socks. In a way it's nice to listen to the chiller side of the spectrum, but still it leaves me yearning for just a little bit extra on a track that is otherwise pretty solid. A bit longer in the lab and that track could've gone from great background music to great anytime music.
Still pretty good all in all though, would make a fantastic intro to an EDM playlist.

Speaking of a little bit on the chiller side, I found this one just this morning. Uploaded today.

The genre is breakbeat. Didn't like it at first but the drop is pretty real. A little less boom and wub than my usual posts in here.

Drop is "pretty real" like you said. I love how they have the woman speaking to at that one part -- lends a cold edge to an rather docile song (docile compared to other similar songs). The counterplay between the synth and the keys in the bridge was nice, but they kept the same quality overall. This, in my mind, is a great work-out song, esp for combat-fitness. Not too heavy (real heavy stuff I only listen to on occassion, and then only from favorite artists), but still get's your blood pumping and your mood ready for some action.

This is a song that I've loved ever since I first heard it. Really like the artist too. On the far more gentle, sad side of things, but still hopeful. Danny Gokey is the artist btw.

Once again, it sounds peaceful... but also very sad at the same time. The guy has a great voice, and that piano in the background is simply fantastic. This is a good song for movie credits in my opinion. Later in the song, it stops being sad and starts encouraging you, making it a good song for people who are sad, you can show them this song to brighten up their moods a little bit.

Also, @Vorpal I thought you already knew what Homebound was. It was in the Project M 3.0 trailer.

Anways... here.

This is a good listen, nice tune. The melody kind of reminds me of chiptune, which I definitely have a soft spot for, combined with a bit more generic sort of electronic music for something a bit different. It does feel a bit repetitive at times, but it's enjoyable regardless. I would have appreciated if they'd found a way to keep things interesting without the need for throwing some random lyrics in there suddenly, but overall I liked this.

III LOVE IT!!! First the bass build up in the beginning is energetic though somehow calm until the trumpet kicks in. Then it gets even more energetic and has a great sound and melody. Though I guess it would be without the singing. The singing before the chorus ruins the mood by a tiny little bit. The chorus fixes it all though. The bridge offers a bit of relaxation until the crescento, or whatever it's called, ending the song in a high note. Once again, nice buildup. On the whole, the melody is great, the instruments were great and the singing was ehhhhh... it was alright. Particularly the chorus.

To be honest I prefer listening to music without lyrics but that doesn't mean I don't like them at all.

So let's show my music once again. This is a soundtrack for Dick Figures the Movie and boy oh boy is it good. Nick Keller is great at making electronic music sound melodic. Well it's not so melodic here but... anyway.

I have no ideas what those sounds are at the beginning, and it give me the first impression the song is bad. But then I listen to it more and it is actually pretty cool. This totally sounds like something from a Dick Figures video (I watch it sometimes) and it could pass off as a music piece for a comedy/adventure movie. The bass drops hard, and I like it that way. It can be used as an alarm to wake someone up after they've fallen into a deep slumber.

NOw here is a music piece for the next person.

That sound at the beginning needs a bit more beat. The beats kinda monotone, but at 1:19 it has really nice beats. Not my type, but I like it anyway.
Even tho the beats are pretty simple and monotone, beats of the song got to top when it ended. The melody turned wild awhile. I don't know what to say anymore, perhaps one more sentence would do.
I don't know what this song is about, /famous?/ but yeah the song doesn't really describe about it, it just sounds like someone being drunk really hard.

My turn!
My favourite singer of all time. /Note: just skip it to the song already

What, is this Melanie Martinez person like the new Katy Perry or something? She seems to have that whole vibe going on there. Well at least this doesn't sound like every other pop song that they play on the radio. Not exactly my cup of tea but I can acknowledge musical competence. The background melody and beat give off a pretty nice vibe (definitely the best thing about the song) and the vocals aren't bad either. Reminds me a bit of something Lorde might make but I could just be talking out of my ass.

Oh, I've heard this before. Popped up on Pandora a few times. I like it, it's got my kind of chill vibe and a nice beat. Never really went out of my way to acquire the song though, as I figured I'd find myself getting sick of the samples really quick. Bit too much of a gimmick, maybe... kind of entertaining to listen to a few times but without much replay value to me. Still, a nice listen.

You've reminded me of another one of my favourites:
