In the town of Durnsville, a silent war is being fought that the world is entirely unaware of. Two vampire houses are battling to be the family that owns this town's citizens, and every morning their thralls are trying to hunt down their rivals coffins, to slay them through the heart. At night, the vampires rise to join the fight themselves.
In Vamps and Thralls, two teams play on a grid denoted by letters and numbers:

During the day, vampires are stuck inside their coffins. Their coffins are hidden, but must be placed inside a "building" on their side of the map, or in the center. Each vampire has Thralls to check a specific square on the map, but they cannot enter an enemy door if it's being guarded by enemy thralls.
This brings the first of the mind games. If you send a thrall to a building and there's no one there, is the building empty? Or is the enemy purposely leaving his door unguarded to throw off hunters? If a building is heavily guarded, is it just a red herring to make you vigorously search an empty home?
There are levels to this. Let me explain.
Starting the Game:
Each player joins by PMing me where they want to place their vampire's coffin. I will give you a day or so to discuss with your team what to do.
Each player begins with Thralls, and they can get more by Hunting at night. I'll explain night actions later.
During the day, each thrall can search one square of the grid inside a building. They can't enter a building if it's being guarded, though. Three searching thralls will kill two guards, leaving one thrall left alive on the searching side.
Both sides can start in the middle, but who would dare do that?
Conflicts:
Combat is simple. Each thrall can kill one of itself before dying. A battle of 5 verse 2 well leave 3 thralls left alive on the left side.
However, at night, Vampires can fight as well. They count as hella thralls and can only be killed by hella thralls worth of damage. Some vampires are stronger than others, though.
If you ever find the enemy coffin and it's empty, you can destroy it. The occupant will no longer be able to hide, and simply entering the building in the day will cause your thralls to discover him.
Day Actions:
During the day, you can search one square of the grid per thrall like I said earlier. Just PM me how many thralls you're using and which grids you want to search.
You can also set thralls onto the doors of buildings to guard them. Just move them to the door's spot on the grid and that counts.
Night Actions:
The night is just like the day, except your vampires can move. You can still search for coffins and etc. Vampires, while they can't search, can do special stuff:
You can Hunt, which makes your vampire leave the map and come back with more thralls.
You can Attack, where you use your vampire as a powerful combat piece
Lastly, you can use your Special. Each of the three Vampires have a different special.
This is basically it. Ask me any questions you have, and hopefully you'll enjoy the game. Simply choose which vampire you want to use to enter this game, and when it starts, PM me where you want your coffin to be.
