"So much for Leo." The woman had a hint of malice and disappointment in her tone. "That thing looks like one of the creatures Ed was talking about. Maybe it would just be best to return to the cave and bide our time, unless you all feel confident enough to fight something that killed Leo just by yawning." Isabelle huffed, "pathetic".

Elyss was crestfallen when he heard the words escape Isabelle's mouth. "Leo's dead?" She whispered. Not even her voice could bring the dead back to life, it was too far of a realm for her to reach. She didn't doubt her allies but nearly went out of the cave, the only thing that stopped her was that if she had died, she'd leave too many things unfinished and that simply quashed thoughts of avenging Leo.
Elyss stood there for a bit, listening Isabelle's words then stared at the incoming Mercy solemnly.

Orwell marched over to Elyss and put a finger on her shoulder, unable to put his whole hand due to its size. He felt bad for the woman, she wasn't the only one who could sense heartbeats and he had noticed the change of rate when she talked to Leo. However more important tasks were at hand. "Which creature was it? Did it have multiple arms? Tentacles? Or multiple appendages that looked like blades? Additional details would be that the tentacle one has a bulb-like body, the one with multiple arms would look like the beast we fought previously who destroyed the fortress, and the last is more hulking in figure, covered in armor."

Elyss looked up to Orwell as she felt the metal finger on her shoulder. She knew it was meant to console and she placed her hand on it to show her appreciation for the gesture. It still stung though, the sudden shock of his death... she breathed in and tried to gather herself.
"I agree," she nodded to Isabelle. "Please, everyone, gather in the cave for a moment. We need to keep safe while we rest. Mano? Mercy? Yogi?"
The last muttered word of the mage hurt slightly, she figured it was for Leo but she decided not to increase any more tension. Chaos wasn't really the best thing for them right now.

"One of those things...? Out there, on the other side of the cave...?" Mercy asked incredulously, raising her hand in direction where Nick and Izabelle came back from. "...And it killed Leo..?" Blood drained from the girl's face, as she put both her hands on her forehead, looking up and biting lips, trying to process the obvious fact. Closing her eyes and exhaling loudly after a moment, Mercy let her hand slowly slide down her face, eventually yelling out "Dammit!" She spun around, kicking the nearest rock almost losing her balance in the process. "How did that even...How is any of all this even possible?!" The girl turned back, seemingly not done yet, but just as she opened her mouth again, her gaze fixed on the entrance behind Nickolai. Taking that this thing may still be out there, screaming her lungs out probably wasn't the best of ideas at the moment. Hence the sudden silence. "...I don't think that such term like 'safe' even exists on this planet..." Kicking yet another pebble on her way, Mercy began to walk away, but stopped after few steps taking a deep breath. "...So...what do we do?"

Mano, hearing all the commotion, takes a few pounds of meat with him and heads for the cave to see just what's got everyone so loud.

Everyone gathered in the cave and rest. No one needed to stay awake or on watch since Orwell was on guard. After several hours the pocket watch that Horace had given Orwell began to glow brightly. Dust swirled around the object and formed itself into a human shape. From this phenomena emerged Horace, completely healed and revived.

Sensors made Orwell look internally, having been preoccupied keeping watch. His cameras swept over Edward still fast asleep then watched Horace emerge from dust. "Master Horace!" Orwell blared in surprise then quieted down as not to wake Edward. "How in the world did you reappear here? You died, I watched your heartbeat disappear as you got disintegrated. The fact you're standing here unscathed... it's impossible. Perhaps another virus?" Orwell mumbled but all readings showed that Horace was indeed standing before him inside the Obelisk. "I would argue there's no scientific evidence to suggest how this is even fathomable but science really isn't relevant as I've seen... well human level science. So how are you back?"

"Well, you see my dear friend I am timeless, death is just a mere inconvenience to one such as myself. Allow me to explain, the pocket watch I had passed off to you is what stirs my spirit, I can be brought at a moments notice as long as its intact, Its what ordinary people would refer to as a horacrux" He exclaimed.
Horace begins to look around quizzically and notices Edward deep in slumber beside him, and lets out a light chuckle as he begins to speak quietly as to not wake the boy.
"So my best friend it seems like I'm currently inside of you, By chance would you allow me to exit so I can explain what happened to the others".

"Fascinating, there is truly much I am ignorant about." A camera zoomed in on the pocket watch, it didn't look any different from a normal pocket watch, except it did look very expensive. "And of course Master Horace," the porthole opened so that he could exit. "I am sure they will be happy to know you are alive."

Isabelle answered Orwells inquiry, "couldn't see much, looked like it had a giant skull head." She glanced at Elyss for a moment as she walked by and gave her a pat on the shoulder.
the Mage entered the cave and slumped down against one of the walls. She didn't require rest like some of the other might.

The party rested. Horace reintroduced himself and told them all of his actual powers. Despite resting for so long the sun outside never set. Several people awoke and noticed the peculiar sunlight. Upon leaving the cave and looking up they were met with a rather shocking sight. Three suns were in the sky, the one that they had seen earlier just now starting to set while the other two moved further into the sky.
Everyone moved back into the cave to discuss their next move.

Elyss had just finished her meditation and she felt better. She had even napped unknowingly at some intervals but it was for the best. The group were gathered in the cave, preparing for a discussion. It was odd that the sun was still up though, she thought to herself. Did she sleep for that long?
The porcelain woman looked at her allies as she listened to what they had uncovered and apparently the plane had three suns.
"Interesting," she mused. "So night never comes here, it will be difficult to traverse then assuming our massive friends use sight of course. If not then it changes nothing..."

"I'm kinda worried about how we'll be keeping track of time. Or what it'll do to our sleep cycles. Kinda terrifying, really."

Horace looked to the group after the realization that day was still upon them, with three suns in the sky.
"My my how interesting, it seems this plane has a strange day and night cycle, it's even possible that night does not exist in the realm. Anyhow, instead of worrying about the sky and the suns, we need to figure out what to do next"
Horace looked around, and began to pace waiting for ideas to be thrown out there
