Elyss held tight on her hood when Nikolai said Clergy.

"I am no longer affiliated with the Clergy," she replied. "I left when I could. I am still human, they couldn't do away with everything."

After the moment with Edward everything turned sour, even the music stopped playing. It was turning out to be what she feared after all.

Edon huffed at Edward's reaction, then muttered quietly to himself, "Well... 'pretty' is subjective..."

The old man spoke up, addressing the girl, "I thought you were gonna end up looking like one of those Disney princesses under there." He finished another bottle of alcohol, itched his bearded chin, and belched loudly.

It turns out the reason the band stopped playing was only partially because of their shock--also because it was getting late and they had places to be. They all filed out, leaving the place empty save for the group. Jim looked at Mano and scoffed, "If you say so," He threw the man a key of his own, "But nobody else gets that luxury--first come first serve, the rest of ya are sharing."

Nikolai walked around, crossing his arms, "Not being completely human isn't bad, I mean look at me," He ran a knife from the cake against the back of his hand; small drops of dark black blood trickled out, "I bleed the same as you, I'm not human either."

Jett slid over to Edon's table, "Guess I'm pairing up with you, bud!" He said cheerfully.

"Thanks sir," Mano says, heading up to figure out which room is his so he can get some rest.

Edon faced Jett with the deepest of scowls, "You're everything I hate in a person."

"You have the luxury of looking human, Nikolai," Elyss muttered. She ignored the drunkard.

The porcelain woman sighed, she kept her hood up and walked towards the booth to see who she was bunked with. Apparently with Mercy, she read in her head. She nabbed the keys and tried to find Mercy.

"Mercy," she called. "I guess we're room mates."

"People would rather have a pure Fraysan than a half-breed one," Nikolai eventually said, scowling and cracking his knuckles. He snagged the keys from Jim and walked up to his room, waiting for Leo.

He snickered, barely able to contain himself. He waved a hand dismissively, "Oh, you flatter me," He said through the now hysterical laughter, "I'm sorry...I'll be good in a second. Your reactions are just hilarious"

"You might be right actually...Its been weeks since I slept in a proper bed...Night Ed, Night Orwell." Mercy headed back inside, meeting the leaving band on her way. "Awww...They're done already?" She the noticed that she still didn't finish her 'meal', half of the cake and milk still left. Quickly coming up to her table, Mercy picked the dishes up, and before she reached the counter with them, both the plate and the glass were empty, and her mouth full. She had to stop for a moment to swallow the whole thing, and then she hit her chest twice. "Ahhh...Alright, so where are we sleeping?" Roaming around the bar, the girl was picking up all the empty plates and glasses, bringing them back to the bar, and placing on the counter.

"Sounds good to me! I'll be there in a minute!" Mercy barely heard Elyss from the other side of the bar, but yelled her response, and after making sure there was no more dishes left, she headed towards the room. "Night everybody!"

Jett was having the time of his life, rushing up the steps. His mission was accomplished, he had beat the drunkard; not by out-matching him in the war of words, but by ignoring his words.

The porcelain woman waved goodnight to everyone as she opened the door to the room. It was spacious enough for two people.

She sat down on the bed and leaned on the wall. At least the night didn't end in her getting shot on sight.

Mercy walked into the room, but immediately stopped, turned on her heel and left, just to come back about thirty seconds later. "Forgot my backpack." The girl smiled to Elyss, closed the door behind her and placed the bag by her bed. She sat on her bunk, being under opposite wall to Elyss', by jumping onto it, which springs responded with a screech of pain. "Alright..." She took off her shoes and her vest, placing the former under the chair, and hanging the later on it. Then, she untied her bandana, and along with the goggles placed them on the bedside stand, before letting her hair loose as well. "Its nice to spend a night under a roof from time to time." Mercy stated, browsing through her backpack, and eventually pulling out her mp3 player. Sitting cross-legged on the bed, and putting one of the earphones in, she raised her head to look at Elyss, slightly surprised. "You gonna...sleep like that?"

"Umm," Elyss blinked before she shook her head. "No, I can change."

She grabbed a few clothes from her pack and, before she removed her cloak, she issued a plea. "Please don't scream."

Elyss removed her hood and then the rest of her cloak. Which showed a shirt and jeans that covered her plated body. She hung her cloak onto the doorknob before she finally sat down and waited for Mercy's response.

"Why would I- Wow!" Mercy's eyes widened, and she sprung up and backwards, almost standing up on the bed, with one arm pushing against the wall, when Elyss revealed herself. She froze in that position for a good amount of time, her eyes shifting up and down, trying to comprehend what was presented to them. "...Well...I uh...I did not expect that..." The girl very slowly sat back on the bunk, still without breaking the eye contact. 'What are you?' almost leaving her mouth, she thankfully asked this question in a different manner. "What...happened to you?" Mercy slightly tilted her head to the side, not smiling anymore.

Elyss maintained eye contact, she tried her best to anyway. She hugged her legs but kept her head up.

"I..." Elyss muttered, she needed to get this off her chest. At least once. Maybe it could get easier over time. "Do you really want to know?"
