By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any content which you submit, post or display on or through, the services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling Google to display, distribute and promote the services and may be revoked for certain services as defined in the additional terms of those services.

Basically, anything you do in Chrome, google can use as they wish.
If it weren't for the ridiculous EULA, I'd be using Chrome. I doubt they'd really use this part of the EULA in any horribly harmful way, but as long as it's like that, I'll keep my distance.

EDIT: I just realized how well my sig goes together with the above.

I hope they give you the option to choose what you want on the new tab page like Operas speed dial. I use it all the time and I'd hate it if there was a site on there that I didn't want.

Yeah, I noticed that every few minutes my mouse would lock up and move very slowly and erratically.

I'm definitely done with this until it's out of beta.

The full quote is:

Quote from Google Chrome Terms of Service: 11. Content license from you
11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.

Which is for the use of all "Google’s products, software, services and web sites," which sounds like it basically gives them the right to cache and translate pages for their search engine. That and maybe featuring blog posts and the like made with their services (I know they have some sort of blog system, though I've never used it)

What it does not mean is that they have rights to anything you post using their browser, but rather anything you post on their sites, IMO. The alternative would be illegal, no doubt.

No, it clearly states Google has the "license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any content which you submit, post or display on or through, the services." "The services" being all "Google's products, software, services and web sites," as you yourself said.
And a browser definitely falls under the category "software."

And yeah, besides all this EULA hassle, the browser's quite buggy still.
And bookmarks were seriously hard to organize.

Holy ****ing shit this is awesome. I love how huge the viewing area is and how fast it is. Only thing is that I heard Gogle checks every URL you type in for viruses and shit but if I really care I'll hop on Opera for anything that may be sensitive.

Hot damn, all the people thinking Google will dominate the world well if everything they create is as awesome as this I HOPE SO.
