How are these arguments still going? ALMOST EVERY BIBLE OF EVERY RELIGION HAS BEEN DISPROVED. There is NO EVIDENCE to go in any direction. HOW IS THERE AN ARGUMENT HERE?

Can you please back this statement up? How do you disprove the holy texts? By showing that they are inconsistent? And even if they are, does that disprove the existence of a divine being?
I myself don't believe in any of the gods I've ever heard of or read about, but I won't deny that there might be a divine being out there. I just think that if there is, we human beings have misunderstood it totally. I don't see how that divine being can possibly be the nice and forgiving god we've heard so much about.

Also, I think the reason there's an argument still going is exactly that there is no evidence to go in any direction.

An incorrect assumption.

That becomes a religion debate.

No, but it means there is no evidence suggesting there is or isn't a divine being.

There's no real way to win it though, because nobody is right or wrong.

Nope, if any belief can claim that it would be the Agnostics, has they don't require any proof for their side, as they don't really care if there is a God or isn't.

I don't think you should think that per se. I'm agnostic by definition, but I care and devote my life and thought pretty seriously to this topic. I'm aggressively neutral.

I've heard that argument, but it works both ways.

1. To claim that you know that there is a God insinuates that you have the knowledge that he does exist.
2. Therefore you must have access to all information.
3. Therefore you are omniscient.
4. Which going off our definitions of a God and the one that Atheists use to disprove God via paradoxs. You are now God.
5. So everyone who claims this is God.
6. That makes no sense, as supposedly there is only 1 God (according to the Abrahamic religions)
7. ...
8. Profit!!! (sorry)

So, both make no sense. Agnosticism (sp?) ftw

sorry for quoting a realy old post, but your post is fogetting something.you assume that we must, in some way, find out about god's excistence of our own accord. There is a simple way that we could find out about god's excistence while not being god: he tel's/shows/communicates to us in some way that he is god. problem solved.

That's actually not proof. If a person hears a voice claiming to be god, he could easily be halucinating.

God. I won my bowling match.
You therefor do not know everything and therefor do not deserve to be called god because you are not omnipotent. Instead you are a big****face who lies too much.
