Here is one of my first animations, as well as my first post on these forums. Hello everyone!

This one is non-violent and happy, but trust me, MY OTHERS SHALL NOT!

Oh crap, I just realized something. This animation has nothing to do with stickmen!

It was made with Flash though. ^^

Pretty nice work. Make some more animations. I want to see what you can do with a more versatile object.

never done this before...just got it today

Nice try. Next time, try to get it to look like the legs are swinging in a run.

Welcome to flash, probably one of the most fun, and at times the most frusterating programs out there.

Oh, and you dont need to save it as a gif. You can save it as an SWF and post the link in URL tags, instead of image tags.

I tried uploading it to swfup.com, but it said it wasnt a .swf file, when it was! Do you think it has anything to do with my version of flash? I'm using Macromedia Flash MX 2004 v7.0.

Also, my avatar is an animation I recently made called the Spirit Punch. What do you all think? ^^

Hello again everyone. I have a new animation that I need your comments on. This one is an attempted double punch. However, it seems more like his arms are twitching, rather than punching. What do you all think?

Oh f'ing yeah, pelvic thrust of doom! On a more serious note- Yeah, your guy doesn't look much like he's punching, he's pelvic thrusting-- The first arm needs to come down more before the second punch otherwise it doesn't seem like there is any force behind the punch. Also you should through the back leg back and make it straight or slightly bent inwards and it'll look more realistic--

I'm no pro at flash but I do know how to throw a punch--

Also, here's my second "real" animation that I've been working on

I know theres some resizing issues with the red guy...but I'm going to try and leave him that size for the rest of it...whatdoyaguysthink?

Okay a few things-- The movements were pretty good, they could've been better but meh. Also, all you did was flip the two sticks horizontally-- Put some effort into it. Animate the stick turning around to see the guy that tapped him. It was really hard to understand I wouldn't have known what would have happened if I hadn't read your post.

For the teleport you need to add at least some kind of effect, believe me, they make a world of difference and they aren't that hard to do, at the bare minimum you could do a frame of hori/vertical lines for disapearing and appearing--

Take pride in your work! Now! Do it! The blood needs some work too, look at some of the blood tutorials on the tutorial page--

Keep at it though, with work you can be good at anything--

Well its not that hard...all you have to do is move their arms around their body, the closer they get to the body the shorter they get--and so on-

That was funny, I loved the rake thing. You have a good sense of humor, you just need to practice your animations-- (Your obviously not hopeless soo...seek the light! [and the light would be tutorials and practice]). What fps are you using? 18-24 is good for stick animations. Your blood needs work..its too straight and not liquidy enough 0.0. You need to work on making your animations more fluid and put more effort into your effects, (the speed lines, blood) they can make or break an animation.

Like I said before, I like your sense of your humor and I can't wait for you to see some stuff you pop out later on after you practice a bit. I'm not a pro..but I'm practicing like a wild beast-- Wow...that was lame--
