General > Introduce Yourself

Also, I'd suggest to :
1. Learn easing.
2. Learn the physics.
3. Add a floor.

Majorgamer - you need to work on your easing and anticipation. It looks like it might be saved incorrectly as well - you need frame delay 6.

dcre8tor - You need to learn the basics of easing, stiffness, and choppines. It did look like it had more potential than a lot of beginners though; I could've sworn I saw some physics in there.

I made a new stick figure like Cronos suggested and threw it into a run loop to try it out. The problem I have is with its back (ignore all the other issues for now). If I don't move it at all I get a decent run with a stiff back:

If I try to loosen up the back it just looks shockingly bad:

Recomendations?

Actually it looks good.

You just can't see the transition between left and right leg though.

It looks like he hops on one leg.

No it doesn't, I can see that two legs are touching the ground.

Funny, it's supposed to be one.

The only thing I see wrong with it, is the back is super stiff.

But realism is important if you want to make it look good, I don't think that your anim was good, sorry, but if you do a backflip you will never land on the same spot, you get more to the left in that anim, and afcaurse you won't jump that high.

And I'm not talking about realism in the way of the structure of a stick, but the things a stick needs to make it MOVE realistic. Like hands, to let it not slide with some things.

EDIT: I think I did what you said was wrong...

How about now?

Still waiting for response of Zed. Or someone else.
