Hmm. You need to loosen it up a bit more really. The arm needs to bend and the legs ought to absorb some of it. Then he needs to ease out of it rather than just jerking back into position.

I just realized today that the animations i'm doing aren't moving me up\increasing my skill.
Therefore, i'm starting fresh from the basics... (Even deleted all the stk's I had including all my recent animations, *No more Droidz stks for me unless I REALLY need it*, Making them all on my own for now.)
I've been looking over my previous animations and noticing they all look the damn same...
To start me off, I just made this to test my easing, movement, physics, and stiffness (At least I think all of that is in the animation -.-)
Anyway, tell me where I went wrong (CC), so I can start animating how I want to:

EDIT: Yeah I know it was only ONE step in the walk, I'll make a loop one so its easier to observe and give CC.

A loop run I made, CC please:

I think the jump need a little more anticipation. Try making your aniamtions a little slower.Quote from megaanims

Great that you're doing this. I think if you animate more often that will benefit you greatly too. Everything there looked fine to me, except the arms on the walk. They swung too far. Apart from that it's looking good.

Can't do a frontflip off a wall. The forces don't work. Not that much else to add really.

The legs need to extend more, but otherwise nice.
Mar 25, 2010 11:11 PM #559332
Alrite so extend the legs more on my run, and dont flop arms around so much on the walk.
Gotcha, thanks dude :D
I'm gonna fix the run now.
EDIT:
The old loop run test:

I honestly can't see much of a difference. :/ The frame were the legs are extended isn't enough, there should just be a few additional frames that show his foot on the ground and really pushing off.

Wait, really?
I extended the back leg to the point where it is completely straight.
Then I moved the front leg up a bit more.
Also, I hesitate to add more frames cause then its gonna look like hes running super slow, and I hate those kind of runs -.-"
Can you be just a bit more specific on how to do what your trying to say, cause i'm a bit confused.
Mar 25, 2010 11:35 PM #559343
Back leg wasn't so much the problem as the front leg. It should be nearly straight out in front of him. If you try getting up and running now you'll find it really hard to do without extending that leg out in front.

OOOH, I see what your saying now.
Gonna edit it right now.
EDIT:
Alrite, here it is... It's like the best I can do lol
