Yes, although you might want to check what you're setting the resize to.
When a guy is in the air he doesn't fall down again instantly. You need to ease the fall. Throw a ball straight up into the air and watch it's speed.

more arm motion- i know it's hard, a lot of frames of very small movements. and have his feet stick to the floor and not drag. unless you are doing that style

Also, foot placement. Keep the foot on the ground perfectly still.
