I usually use 16 to 18 fps. It's not like it's a flash animation :s

Making an animation smooth isn't about the fps. It's about easing and flow. I've seen smooth animations at 12fps. Pivot defaults to 16.6 and trying to change it often doesn't work once the gif is uploaded, so I'd stick with that. If you really want a higher frame rate you'll have to import your animation to flash. 34fps is about the maximum the human eye can take in.

You need to save your animations properly. Frame delay 6, resize 2. Then make sure you always keep the foot on the ground perfectly still.

Just a friendly observation but his movement is a bit stiff on the actuall jump part.

I think you can probably tell no-one would be able to jump without moving their legs. He needs to push down to go up.

I'm testing to see if this works! did this in a few minutes on my dad's computer where I don't have many "complex" figures so don't expect it to be too good.

Faster than I thought my browser was capable of displaying. Which is interesting. But yeah, it works. Now make something slow and nice :)
