how would you suggest not having it so wobbly? I redraw each frame by using the trace of the previous frame as a guide, is that the correct way to be going about things? Should I spend longer trying to get each frame close to the last?

All you can really do is practice.

noobet, you need some more easing, kind of smooth, and try doing simple stuff, if you need help with stuff, I'll be offering to mentor you.

Yes, people do.
Go slower.
Take your time animating.
And dont make your animation so fast paced.

@ Eimyz . the run was kinda "weird" -_-;

well everything is ........ "weird"
I'll recomend err , practice on movements :/

1. the running ( you need to show the movements of the legs )
the technique is 2 , 1 , 2 , 1
. 2 frames for the stick to be above ground , and 1 frame for the stick to land and switch legs .

2. work on particles , the tutorial section should have what you need ( I hope )

3. The stickman needs anticipation :]
He needs to gain energy to achieve that launch or whatever it is .
So he probably needs to crouch down THEN jump up .

4. Don't rely too much on the copy paste button ( unless the frames have variety or if you are using the new EZtoon )
It makes you stickman look petrified .

5. Find more cool particle effects ( spikey type of effects are the easiest , but the less prettiest .) try smoke or chunks of rocks flying when it hit the ground .

Sorry but I couldn't help but laugh at the run.
Seriously though slow it down, Take your time and make more frames, also think about how people move. Would you run like that? Well If you did you would look pretty stupid.
