I'm not after that kind of style, the background was good and if I was making my usually comedic antics and such I would use it but I'm making a war aniamtion. Its Serious Business times. Could I see your usual style? Since you said you made this cartoony as opposed to your original style.

Also I'm looking for the ruins to be in ruins, like walls crumbled/ floors caved in and such. The background you showed me looked like I was looking back several hundred years...

Note what you said in the post, you mentioned aztecs. I'll draw one in my usualy style either later or tommorow morning. Still need to know what you want drawn though, ruined building form the inside or a city half blown up.

How about this.

Draw a background from the view of the ground. You are in the jungle with trees over your head so there are only patches of moonlight [its at night] that shine through them. On one side there is a crumbling wall of a mayan/aztec type pyramid. It was once a nice sturdy wall of he pyramid but now its an entrance into the ruins. There is more smaller crumbling walls heading towards the other side of the picture which can be used as cover. Its possible that the smaller walls are the remains another ancient structure that has long since been destroyed. The theme of the picture needs to look sort of dark, but not to dark. As opposed to the light cartooniness of your first example.

On the front page I was deliberating between using aztec/mayan style ruins. [leaning more towards mayan] or a city thats been deserted and partially destroyed. I would prefer to use the ruins as the battle ground but the city works fine as well... Ruins works better for my idea of an ending. ^_^

So ruined civilisaion in a rainforrest with a dark theme, I'll skech a few ideas and start in a few hours once i've had some sleep or just move the kettle up to my room and have some coffee.....

I already have a blood animator and thats not even an animation. Thats just simple blood splatter image with a blur filter on it.

Wow, I like this better than Darknessx2's.

But honestly I'm thinking on just taking the project 100% solo. The more and more I think about, the more I think that the more people I bring into the project the less likely it is to be finished. I think I would almost rather do the project 100% myself [minus small helps from you guys like the guns Dudemans and Aklemo provided.] and have it finished as opposed to doing 50% myself and never finishing. I have nothing against you guys and I really like alot of the stuff I'm seeing. But I can't see how we could successfully communicate what needs to be done and get actual work done at the same time without us actually being in the same room or building. This isn't a project that can be done very well over the internet. So I'm sorry but I'm going solo on this project. Thanks for the help you guys even if you didn't do much. And sorry if I wasted some of your time on examples >_> But I don't see how this can be done over the internet so I'm going to stop wasting ya'lls time by attempting to do so. I'll finish it myself. Thanks again for the help, even if you didn't do anything ^_^

Jesus christ, don't bump old threads, if you read my last post or the updates on the front page you would know that I went solo on this project. I don't need help and I don't know when or if I'll ever finish. I haven't started animating yet because I'm still drawing guns and doing tests. You all might be supplied with a preview in a couple months depending on how far along with this I get...
