Me and my friend have a huge point in our lives: We think that we will one day create a totally next-gen game and probably a brand new console.
Like, a ball, in which you go in, dress yourself in a special suit.
And you can totally control your movements in the game, feel the weight of the items.
This would be like an entertaining workout for the ones that don't like sport.
This could even be used as a thing that helps you learn instead of the books, like it creates a hologram of the thing that happened in the past and you study and stuff.
The possibilities are somewhat endless.
Discuss.
Same idea, except I had an idea where you'd wear a suit and if you took explosive damage for example, the parts of the suit that were hit gradually got heavier.
To feel, anything like that would take IMMENSE amounts of programming and processing power. Simulating any human emotion would, so if you really want to try. Good luck with that.
When I start high school in about a month I'm going to take a few classes on just basic stuff, gradually work myself up from there, then hopefully major in it later on in life and get a job programming.
I don't know wither I'll be doing games, or just programming in general, but I'm shooting for games. Don't expect to be doing anything to next-gen except motion controlled stuff. Who knows, maybe we might be working on something like this but don't expect it for many many many years unless you created it within the next 5-10.
This kinda stuff isn't easy you know.
