I was having an off day that day and was unable to post clearly. I was referring to people who attempt to segregate us from other beings by stating us as superior to other animals. Though I could have just said we aren't.
My bad :D

Humans kill more of their own kind than any other animal on earth, excluding ants. What is your point?

Haha, sorry, but I just cant stop laughing at your poor comprehension of the english language. Although, your answer suggests your just five.

Just because we are more intelligent doesn't mean we are different.

Scientifically, i believe we are animals
but I also believe we could be seperated due to our ability to imagine
I don't understand how if we are closely related to the monkey how could that small difference make us so much more advanced?

We have animal cells.
Therefore we are animals.
That's all the debate you need. Our advanced brains have nothing to do with it. We are defined as animals. The only thing 'keeping' us from being animals is the way the word animals is used, as a barbaric primitive being. Well thats not the definition of an animal.
God we've had this debate a zillion times, haven't we?

Humans have the ability to think, plan, dream, reason and have choice. animals go on by instinct. Instinct is best described as knowledge you are born with. Animals know how to eat and avoid being eaten. Perform necessary tasks to stay alive, and to reproduce. Is it that seperates us is we have the ablity to expand our way of life? or is it that we can put things on paper and share our knowledge to other humanbeings.. neither is better then the other.

And yet the difference between us and chimpanzees in intelligence is a very narrow void. The difference between us and chimps is equivalent to the difference between cats and dogs.
