Wow, can't believe my post was deleted. But seriously, pivot is fast, easy and sucks. EZtoon is long boring, but can kick ass.
Um boring? Using any animation program will seem boring if you're doing it right.
In my opinion, Easytoon is better. Pivot is good for learning the basics of physics and movement, but Easytoon has much more freedom in the case that you can actually draw. In Pivot, particle effects of liquid effects (blood, water, etc) can be tedious because you have to make several .stks and move them around in order to make it look right, whereas in Easytoon, you just draw it. I don't really know why people say Easytoon is harder because you have to redraw every frame. The way I see it, it's less of a hassle than Pivot because at least you don't have to rearrange every individual limb on a character in order to move him. Pivot users, don't get me wrong. I've seen some pretty great Pivot work before (like this one animation I saw limped create), but an Easytoon animation at it's could easily beat a Pivot animation at it's peak in terms of quality.
In short, Pivot is good if you want to get the basics down and just want to animate stick figures, but with Easytoon, you can really accomplish some mind blowing stuff.
