how so, since in exilements previous posts, he has the intentions of offending not only christians, but also any individual who believes in jesus christ.
in my opinion, that can't be considered as a "solid and compelling argument".

i deliberately stated in the very first post that all Atheists should restrain from commenting if it was to stir things up and/or offend believers.

the system is broken, apparently any member who was registered before 2008 are exempt from all rules.

Please quote the post where I said that. I defended religious folk around here, before they started turning against atheism in general, and I don't recall even saying "jesus christ" let alone trashing anyone who believes in him.

I do recall you agreeing with someone who said that anyone who isn't a christian will go to hell when they die, though. So there is that.

He was responding to how Yun thought it was a good idea to tell people they're going to Hell, and you agreed with him. His intention was to show how wrong you are, not for the purpose of offending. It made logical sense, and putting "I hate" and the word "fuck" into some sentences does not negate the content and his argument. You're not paying attention to what he was saying, only to the way he said it.

It is a solid and compelling argument. You have atheists, and then you have antitheists, people like me, and I'm sure a few other members in this thread.

People who think religion is not only a lie; not just a man made tool to enforce rules and gain power over one another; but that it's harmful; that a human being believing that they have all the answers and that those who disagree with him deserve to suffer eternally isn't such a great idea; that those who preach these ideas aren't just pig-dumb, they're outright harmful to mankind.

It's called an opinion; this is the debate area, you're going to get a few of these...

well, if we dont know the actual answer, then wouldnt anything we say end up being an opinion?

noone ever told you you were going to hell, all he said was that if heaven and hell exists, you'll regret your disbelief...

if you knew heaven and hell existed, wouldn't you change some decisions you've made? wouldn't you want to go back and change things because you regret some of the things you've done?

You don't have to know the answer to know that there is one, simply the means by which to falsify or verify it.
