You know, Mimiru's character is based off of Black Rose, who was an AWESOME player and part of the original Dot Hackers. (Or it may be vice versa, the story is a bit back and forth in places.) I kinda liked Tsubasa, though Helba has always been one of those weird "I know pretty much everything but I'll be a mysterious gray area bitch about things" character. Also, I always loved how Tsubasa ended up being a girl playing a boy character.

If Katsura Hoshino would be upset to continue D.Gray-Man... THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
Was I the Only one that knew that she did the characters designs of Valvrave the Liberator?

Quote from RaptorI think all the characters had depth. Their motive in the game doesn't necessarily equal their depth as a character. I haven't read it in a long time, so bear with my memory. For example, the "hero" character had depth because his design was made to be intentionally shallow. When his beliefs clashed with the others, it only emphasized his character traits further. I will always remember his quote in the side-story Mosaic when Minene questioned his definition of Justice. He responded with "absolute victory."
Motive and reasons are one of the factors that makes depth. Those two alone with quality would probably only be enough to make two-dimensional, which would be enough for some of these supporting characters. Bare with me too here lol, I don't really remember any part where his belief actually clashed with others. Only his belief being recited unto others.

You and maybe thousands of other die-hard/pre-14 year old kids.
In all seriousness, I just don't think Bleach is that great. It's definitely pretty good, but it has a lot of noticeable flaws. Really to call anything "the ultimate" thing is pretty fanboyish because there's never anything that can fulfill that threshold.

I'd go further than that and say that it's average, maybe bordering on fine, and what really annoys me is that I think it could have been exceptional. If you removed all the filler arcs and episodes, had it end after the Aizen arc, fixed the ending, didn't ruin Aizen, made the female characters strong female characters, removed the unneeded secondary characters, maintained a higher quality of animation (motion lines and repeated sword clashes =/= awesome action scenes), and made everything slightly less 'stereotypical shounen' you would have something that could rival Brotherhood...
Also Tonari no Seki-kun is the ultimate anime, and I'm definitely not being a fanboy...

Hey Jelly, read this manga: http://kissmanga.com/Manga/Boku-dake-ga-Inai-Machi
It's not finished yet, but imo it's really good. Thoughts?

It had a decent concept to work with...but it failed drastically. I mean i watched more than enough episodes to make my judgement on whether or not it was worth both my time, and all the hype it gets.
Its safe to say it wasn't.
Plus i'll never forgive it for those tiresome fillers -_-

Watch the anime, finish it, then read the manga since is still going, is getting better and better the series.

Simply put, no.
In my opinion it never really got close to living up to the hype it received. I gave it many chances(about a hundred or so) but it failed to pull me in and keep the plot interesting and exciting, then it just started to drag on and had to be dropped. Now why would i put myself through that again?
Anyway there's so many more anime that are worth the watch, especially with the new ones coming this season.

I'll definitely give it a go if I can work out how to download it onto my phone, but I probably don't have the time to read it unless I'm on the train. So no promises.
I suppose I should probably finally read akumetsu while I'm at it.

It's definitely not getting better lol. I mean I guess you could say it was better relatively since some of the chapters prior to the final arc sucked.

You could read it on your phone but it probably uses a lot of data.
You should read some of the manga on Crunchyroll, they're good.
