Thanks YWJF!, I needed that sort of explanation, I just finished Code Geass and my mind got blown, I love the anime that are serious but, I would like to watch some ridiculously entertaining explosions for now lol.

Also because almost any anime fan knows what it is and has already decided to watch or not to watch it.

I personally didn't like Guilty Crown at all (granted I only saw the first three episodes or so). The MC is just not very likeable imo.

I saw about 8 episodes of it, I didn't like it either.

Anyone wat he'd jormungand? That was amazing. Also speed grapher. The first few episodes are kinda confusing, but like it has its shunned comedy moments. Also sad and disturbing in certain parts. And yeah guilty crown sux.

jormungand was great i haven't seen speed grapher yet its on my list tho i'm extremely disappointed by the fact you all don't like guilty crown and im adding you all to my imaginary hit list ._.

What I generally consider to be action is along the lines or a Bruce Willis or Michael bay film.

Like, the action was there, but was it an action show? Maybe, maybe not. At least the action isn't watch gets me all hot and bothered when I reminisce about the show. It's the world building, Makishima's charisma, the whole police system, the Sibyl system, the relationship between enforcers and the inspectors, and all of it's thought provoking themes that get me off.

So yeah, it is an action show I guess, but I personally think it's closer to a sci-fi, police, thriller then a sci-fi, police, action show.

Oh no, I definitely see the similarities, but I just don't think it's a 'clone'. They explore some very different themes in very different ways.
