aldnoah season 2 (Click to Show)
I'm only three eps in but like I've said before I'm significantly less grumpy about the ending of the last season now so I can't go on about how the writing is terrible, but it has made me resent the 'one cour break' even more than I had before. That said the writing isn't perfect either, but now it lies in a funny little place between 'above reproach' and 'face palming-ly bad' which means I can bash the fuck out of it for it's many flaws while still really - and I mean really - enjoying it. Which is actually a lot of fun to be honest.
I have very strong expectations that this will continue to be good but always falling short of being great.

Assassination Classroom (Click to Show)
It's actually pretty fun, and I've managed to get one of my filthy casual friends to stick with it and that's always a good thing. I like that it doesn't take it's self to seriously while still having undertones of serious issues, and in that regard it reminds me a lot of GTO, but I probably won't enjoy it as much for some reason. I am worries that it'll fall into the trap of being 'to much' in the sense that certain tropes and character archetypes will be used a bit to heavily, but as I'm only 3 eps in this isn't a complaint and more like me holding my breathe hoping it doesn't happen.
So this'll probably be a school comedy that I actually enjoy, which doesn't happen all that often.

Death Parade (Click to Show)
Probably my favourite show at the moment and I can't think of to much that I haven't already said all ready in this thread, so I'll repeat myself :P
I think it's directed very well, it has the ability to make usually mundane actions and movements really quite dramatic which is unbelievably important in this kind of show, the art, visuals, and colouring feels unique and suits the tone of the show perfectly, the music is also surprisingly good and a couple of times it's stood out and has become more than mere background music and both the op and ed are exceptional (despite the op being somewhat surprising I wouldn't have it any other way lol), and the stories are really well done considering the short amount of time for each game.
I really think everyone should watch this as it airs, it's the kind of show that you can watch without thinking and still enjoy it or while wearing your thinking cap and find some thought provoking themes, all the while it never feels pretentious.
I can't wait to watch the next episode and I'm really excited to see how this world unfolds.

Durarararaaraararararararararararararararararara (Click to Show)
I mean it's durarara, what else do you want me to say?
I dunno, nothing has really started so I can't comment on the story so far and everything else seems like textbook durarara from what I remember of the first season, which means I really can't complain about anything.
It's fast paced, quirky, and down right crazy. If you're not already watching it you should quickly smash through the first seasons and then catch up, and watch Baccano while your at it.

Maria the Virgin Witch (Click to Show)
I'm on the fence about this one, it's setting it's self up to be interesting and to touch on some pretty deep themes like organised religion being used to control and manipulate a population, divine entities not actually giving a fuck, indoctrination, war mongering, and personal agendas, but why would you focus on all that when you can make a not so witty virgin quip and joke about a incubus without genitalia... Har har har......
I dunno, this could come out and actually be a pretty decent show, but I'm putting my money on it being a show with wasted potential because... Ecchi...

Rolling Girls (Click to Show)
Well... It's cute girls doing cut... Actually I have no fucking idea what they're doing...
At first I thought this was a kind of parody of Kill la Kill but I think it's slightly more inspired by the superheros Japanese children watch (do not quote me on that, everything I know about their superheros comes from anime which feature some kind of 'superhero play' episode and Samurai Flamenco (which I dropped btw)), but that doesn't really tell me what the fuck is going on...
But hey, it looks good and it's pretty lighthearted so whatever, it's instantly a passable moe show I guess.

Yeah... I don't think I'll be enjoying this one.
Tokyo Ghoul (Click to Show)

Fuck anyone who thinks this is good. Seriously fuck you. I'm about to watch the fifth episode after I post this but I doubt my opinion will change. It's shit. The music is forgettable, the animation is bad by the standards of 10 years ago, the story so far is a train wreck of 'things happen because... reasons...', it feels like a elementary schooler wrote everything and when they realized nothing made sense or was explained they just slapped the 'mystery' tag on it in the hopes that a mediocre reveal will be enough to make the viewer forgive 11 eps of bullshit. The characters are dull as fuck and I care about none of them, "Oh you're that dudes daughter, interesting that we've never heard anything about you despite you turning this investigation on it's head due to your detective prowess, and yes, I am interested in a pissing contest between you and that other detective I don't care about, how did you know!?".
Fuck this show and fuck anyone who thinks it's good.
Yatterman Night (Click to Show)
I have no idea why I started watching this seeing as I have no experience with the Yatterman franchise, but I did, and I think this series is going to surprise me. I don't think it's going to be exceptional or anything, but I really didn't think this was going to be good at all, but so far it isn't half bad.
The comedy and story seems to be a throw back to it's crazy and bombastic predecessors but may put a few people off, anyone who's seen World Conquest Zvezda Plot might be familiar with this kind of silly story, but unlike Zvezda Yatterman Night seems to take its self a bit more seriously and has brushed of some pretty serious themes like dictatorship and terrorism which might actually be very interesting. I'm looking forward to see how well the show balances on the line between silly and serious.
Another aspect that surprised me is it's animation, there really isn't anything phenomenal about it's art style, but it's movements are really well done and suit the bombastic nature of the show, there's also a couple of moments that require a lot of attention and the show really delivers with nice choreography and visually appealing animation that I just wasn't expecting.
I'm looking forward to seeing how much this series can exceed my expectations.

My thoughts on Your Lie in April, Parasyte, Log Horizon, and Shirobako haven't changed much since the last time I would have ranted about them, so I didn't bother with a write up.
So Drone, how's your review coming along?
