So Phoenix Wright is getting an anime in the spring. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty hype for that. Aside from that, we're also getting Big Order (from the creator of Mirrai Nikki), Boku no Hero Academia (great shounen manga) and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable (my favorite Jojo part so far), plus a continuation of Ajin from the winter season. We also have some interesting sounding anime like Joker Game, Kotetsujou no Kabaneri (supposedly from the creators of AoT), Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge, and Sword Gai.

Spring is looking nice so far.

Oh, that does sound interesting. But is there any new news on DR2? It's been a while since I've heard anything on it.

I dunno and honestly I don't really care. Ideally, I think DR2 should stay as a game and nothing else; its a story that's infinitely better experiencing than it is reading or watching. And if DR1 showed us anything, its that it doesn't transition well between mediums and its meant to stay as a game.

The only reason why I'd want to support DR2 anime or whatever is just so the creators can get more money out of it so they can make another one/be rewarded for their work on the game, but since they're already making DR3 I sort of don't care about most of the merchandise relating to DR2.

So Raptor, I got jelly to read Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer (Samidare no Hoshi) and well. We both agree that you should read it too. So there.

It's a slice-of-life manga with shounen overtones. Even though it feels like an action manga, it's only action where it's appropriate. You know how bokuranno borders on deconstruction and pessimism. This is like Bokurano but a little more idealistic/realistic. Feels were definitely had by the end.

Oh Hewitt baby, if you read the OP, you would've known that I've read Samidare no Hoshi a loooong time ago.

And yeah I agree, it's a very underrated work.

Watching Fate/Zero right now, I'll make a long rant/review/whatever for it once I'm done.

Hewitt, we were talking about Wakusei no Samidare, and I'm reading another one of that author's works, Spirit Circle. And it's fucking fantastic. It's almost as good if not better than Biscuit Hammer. Give it a try.

So, best anime of 2015? One-Punch Man was good, but my vote still goes to Death Parade. I still think it had the best OP of 2015 too.

Unlimited Blade Works

death parade was good but didn't have a linear story and while the characters were certainly interesting they weren't appealing imo

SNAFU 2. I greatly enjoyed the first season and to see it get even better was impressive. As I've probably said before, I value characters the most in an anime and it definitely delivered.
