If I remember correctly, archeologists recently found a larger Mayan calandra that goes PAST 2012 into a later date....

Though there are some cases in which a major catastrophe could happen; Yellowstone for instance as you've all been discussing, but it doesn't necessarily mean the "end of the world"

I've argued with people who thought the world was going to end before. It was going well until they bought up Yellowstone. I don't see how one can argue with that, I mean there's plenty of evidence that Yellowstone is going to erupt rather soon.

No there isn't, the magma under yellowstone was rising faster a few years ago than it is now.

And like I said, one volcano is not going to destroy the world.
