Because I spend at least half an hour working on my comics and a lot of the time I get beaten in a race to post by someone who puts little to no effort at all.

That is exactly what we're going to change with this. The quality and organization.

There will be a ranking system, so good comics win you credit for your work.

I Think that if there is a problem because two people have made a comic against the same character or one characters story doesn't fit with anothers, there should be a comparing of quality between the two works. The one with best quality is the one that actually takes place in Comic World or what ever you want to name it.

eg- MrDodo makes his comic of his character punching Dogface In the... well face
conflicts with - Dogface does a triple back flip and kicks Momo3000 in the chest

Dogface's comic is supirior because: he spent more time on it and did a better overall job, went with the events more and because I am way better at art then my friend MrDodo.

I imagined it as a new world new characters and such..

Maybe not new characters (incase people want to use old ones), but it'd definitely be a new map and new....."story".

It is completely separate from whatever versions of comic brawl existed before and is way more organized and refined. As dogface suggested, the quality of the art and dialogue/story is the factor which will decide what rank you are, not what you actually do in your comic. Characters will have to be approved by CR mods before they get to post, hence no overpowered characters that would cause permanent damage to the map will be included in CR.

Map-
There will be a map of "Comic Royale"
(We can the name later)
The map will be like a small wolrd with
differnt lands and island. In each terrain
there can be a different elements within
the terain. For example:
A terrain can be a deesert are, so the comic
BG would have to have sun and sand.
You can travle the lands, and waters, but tere
will have to be a minimum amount of comics you
must post before you can get to certain desitnatiosns.
There will be ways to discover new lands. And islands.
To do this you will have to spend a total of 3 comics
posts on a boat in the water were you want to find
land. You if you step on land befdore the 3 comic post
oerios you must start over. You can contact alliance.
