View Profile Pessimism Badge Earned.
It could happen. We bicker about so much and we've been getting updates up until 8 months or so? People had issues with burn. We brought it up here. Bam. It changed. Trees were horrendous and now they're tolerable. Minor glitches with projectiles missing they're intended target due to a unit being in a certain place have been eliminated. (For the most part)
There is always a possibility for change.

View Profile I feel as if pessimism fits better there as the situation is not something that something that is true to life nor the way things are. In nyar's post, pessimism fits a bit better as he believes that nothing positive will result from any discussions here. Instead, he choose a more negative outlook.

Likewise, I could say that you think something good will result from discussion here, which could be a naive outlook given past experience. Opinion opinion opinion.

Ah, but that is where you are mistaken, as I merely stated that there is a possibility. We cannot say 100% in either direction whether something will or will not happen. Naivety when given evidence of change already happening from previous discussions held here? Hm. That's funny. I placed no opinion as of recent as there
IS a possibility of action being taken by the devs from our discussion seeing as no one here can verify whether or not any of them take into account what we discuss.

View Profile I kinda agree with pumu here, I personally don't have difficulties selecting my numerous V's to do what I need. The problem is you guys try to select him when he's in the middle of the fray lol. You gotta select him before.
It's not going to be problematic microing with the V mid battle if there's a hot key.

Hey, there's an OP unit that can possess and teleport and make more units from it. Let's make it easier to control. top kek.

That's not balancing.

View Profile If the hotkey became a thing for the V, it would select every unit of that nature. Mid battle when trying to micro individually is very bad as you only need to move the unit(s) they target and not every single V as your V should not be melee ing as much as it is casting. That's what the clones are for.

View Profile Pumu do you understand that currently CTRL+9 selects all Vs and all clones?

View Profile Yes I am. Thusly, I neglect the use of the hotkeys for mass selection and use the double click and sweep method.
Splitting them prior to attacking is much more optimal than trying to mass control whilst fighting.

View Profile Indeed and it's optimal precisely because there's no V only hotkey. It wouldn't be optimal if the hotkey was added.

View Profile As I said, if it is implemented than so be it. I just wanted to point out that since it is not a necessity but more so a luxury this would be one reason as to why the developers may be sleeping on this idea.

View Profile The reason they would "sleep on this idea" is more to the fact that there hasn't been a major update in over a year. ANY update is really a luxury. That's not really a good argument, and you aren't helping.

*said after arguing against the implementation since page 224*
Adjusting hot key selection should be a piece of cake versus adding in entirely new features. The reason it hasn't happened is because no updates have happened as Rain said.
