Here you can discuss bans, contest bans, and in special cases you can submit information for posterity about why someone was banned.

I am seriously thinking we should ban THE RISER.
http://forums.stickpage.com/member.php?161502-THE-RISER&tab=infractions#infractions
Look at how many infractions he has, many of them repeats. He just doesn't listen or learn. It's getting to the point where I feel that we need to do something about it. Does any one else agree?

The only issue is that I know that he's;
- foreign
- definitely young
- loves stickpage and doesn't mean much harm.
On the downside, none of the above necessarily puts him ABOVE the rules. However, I do feel he's quite harmless?

Yeah that's why I didn't just outright ban him. The thing is though, while he's relatively harmless, he keeps instigating arguments by accident, and inciting people to attack him. He really needs to learn proper forum etiquette, but all the warnings and infractions we give don't really have an affect.

How about this, 3 more warnings and he is done. I think at 12, I would for sure feel fine with him being banned even if just for a little while given the above reasons why we haven't even just banned him outright already.

I've never seen a single thread or post worth reading from him. He means well, but if he can't follow simple rules then I don't think he's mature enough to be on an online forum.

I'm banning lycan for a week because I just found out that he's been getting around his IRC ban for the last little while.

Both THE RISER and Ahmad continue to make crappy threads, post in the wrong sections despite multiple warnings, and generally bungle things up. Both of them have a large amount of warnings and have both been banned for one or more days at one point or another, some times more than once. I am thinking of sending both of them messages telling them they get ONE more chance, and the next infraction they get will result in a permanent ban. Any one else agree? I get that they're kids and probably like being here, but it's becoming a problem to clean up and keep track of.

Yeah, I think thats fine as long as they know that its their last and final warning before we take real recourse. I usually dont give this much warning or precursor to users being banned, but I do know they are young and foreign. As horrible as that sounds, it is the major reason why they continue, atleast I know that to be the truth about 'THE RISER.'
Still, in short- I agree.

Actually I think Ahmed's been getting better lately. It's been a while since I've seen him bump a debate thread, and he seems to be putting more effort into his posts. I know he recently posted in the wrong section, but beyond that he's a lot better than when he first joined.
The Riser seems completely incapable of saying anything worthwhile, though. I'd suggest sending him a warning, and just keep an eye on Ahmed. I don't really like him but I don't think a permanent ban is necessary, at least not yet.
Then again I haven't been very active for the last week or so, so maybe I missed a few things. Just my two cents.

I've done some thinking and talking to other people about this, and I think it's time to seriously discuss it. I think 2-D should be banned. He is constantly causing trouble, stirring up shit, fanning flames, and he has had 26 total infraction points in the last few months. 26. That's more than THE_RISER and Ahmad, both of whom are foreign children that don't know any better. 2-D seems to not give a shit, and has shown that he will continue acting the same, despite all these warnings and the clear knowledge that he's being watched and shouldn't be acting that way. Infractions aren't getting the message across, it's time to get harsher. Does anyone else agree, and why or why not?
He's also practically admitted to provoking and baiting me into reacting in a PM:

He "figured" it would happen, yet did it anyway. I mean, why are we putting up with this? He has gotten the benefit of the doubt at literally every possible turn because Stone and I didn't want to excommunicate him from a community he's been a part of for a while, and he refuses to play nice or even be civil.

2D's one of the oldest members here, but I honestly wouldn't miss him if he was gone.
Maybe a one/two month ban would do him good, after he realizes how much he needs this place for his entertainment.

I'd start with a one week ban. 2-D constantly tests his limits but whenever he gets punished for his behavior, he usually starts playing nice. I think he's gotten a free pass for too long and he's starting to forget that his behavior has consequences.

I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one that notices the way he acts. I think to get my point across I'm going to do a 2 week ban, it's enough that he can't shrug it off as week vacation, but I don't think it's long enough to be unnecessary.
