There's a lot wrong with your post and kinda seems like you're trying to pull a fast one on us. If something isn't making money you shouldn't just abandon it, especially something that people invested time and money into. Instead of looking at the game and analyzing why it isn't making money, he just moved on. When in reality it's not making money because of flaws within the game and marketing. Be realistic, is it really right to charge people for a game that flawed and gets no attention from the Devs? Sure there going to always be that percentage of stupid people who will fall victim and buy into it, but as a consumer I'm going to warn against that, as the rest of the community should. Stop supporting their product if their not going to pay attention to it. Not many people would be enthusiastic about working for someone who conducts business like that.
If a product isn't making money, a business will usually do one of several things, maybe a few them; Advertise the product better, put the product on sale, create a new variation of the product, or as you said, abandon it. That is business. Businesses are designed to make money. If something is costing you more money than it's worth, why continue working on it?* You don't put all your eggs into one basket, and you don't focus on the basket that has a hole in it, when you have a perfectly good basket next to it.
To say that is very disrespectful to the whole community. You talk as if there aren't current game breaking bugs within the game. And you talk as if the community hasn't been complaining about them for over a year. But yet you still expect people to sit around and pay for the product? This is a joke right?
I'm sure there are, but unfortunately, I don't know about the majority of them because people either a) don't post about them or b) post completely useless shit directly after them and I skip it because it's irrelevant.
*Now, someone might read that and think "Why don't they just remove the game then?" and I believe the reason is, it's not costing them too much money for the upkeep of the game, it would instead cost them money to work on it. What I mean by that is that the amount of time and effort they would have to put into this game to make it as big as it once was, or to fix it fully, is not worth the return.
Also, I feel as I should point out; These are my words/views and in no way represent the devs.
