1.) How do you make the movie seem like it's zooming in, while it's going on? I downloaded some .fla files of the Crazy Jay Collab for reference...but I can't figure it out.

2.) How do you trim a sound clip? I tried to delete a few of the frames it was on, but it just snaps back...

Sorry for the delay.

1. Try using the VCam. Look around Google, shouldn't be hard to find. Just use that to tween the camera closer to what you're zooming into.

2. Deleting a sound clip's frames only change it's placement. You need some kind of audio editing program to directly edit the audio. Try Audacity.

i just wanna know how to improve my physics and smoothness

For now just work on movements.. don't worry about physics. Smoothness is just more frames and a higher FPS.

When you make a new frame, you need to redraw the whole stick. Don't just move an arm or a leg, it's not going to look good. And don't worry about beams for now.. those are very complicated and aren't very good to work on when you first start animating.

if you go to the adobe home site and search V-Cam youll get a blank animation with a V-Cam script in it... then you just rip the script out of the animation and put into your new one :p sry for posting like im giving advice but it tooke me a long time to find on google so i figure be more specific for the people lolz

uhh......how can i change the size af the line tool to make it thicker so i wont have to keep free hand drawing stiks which i think is more funner?

hm... nice thread! well... my question isn't really about animating... but i wonder how i can upload stuff to the front page. instead of the forums, so i can get more views and ratings... because when i make threads around here, nobody really cares. so what i wonder is, do you need to be a special rank or something to upload there? and no, im not a flash newbie. please answear, i've been looking everywere and i can't find anyway to do it... would be great if you could help me! :)
