Um. I've been hanging around here for about one and a half year now and I was pretty good at animating. Just wondering what everyone's using now, is it still Flash 8 or is it Adobe CS3?
Thanks.

Flash 8 or CS3 doesn't really matter. Depends on what you need. Besides, unless you are going to use/know how to use AS3 (ActionScript 3) In the CS3 version, I don't see the need for it as Flash 8 works just fine. (Apparently many people think the logo for FL8 was better than FL9 (CS3) anyway)

Does anyone know if I am able to put objects from Adobe Illustrator CS into Macromedia Flash 8? If so, how do I do this? Sorry to be a bother.

First, you must make your button. Then you have to highlight it, and press F8. Now you should have a window with movieclip/graphic/button. Choose for the button. Now it IS a button, but it's not working yet! Double click it, and now you look at the timeline, you see 4 frames. The UP part, is for the part how your button looks like if its jsut there, no mouse over it or hitting it. The OVER part, is for the button to show when the mouse is hanging at the button. And the down part (HERE COMES YOUR ANSWER) means when the mouse hits the button. Then you can change the colour at THIS part of the frame.
Then the last one: HIT, there you jsut need to draw over the places where the viewer can push the button
