Well, you can just draw faster, but if that's the speed that you can make quality animations at, then maybe you shouldn't try and speed up at all.

Oh, one last thing. Ive been dying to know how to do this.

You know in those really good stick fights when it would seem like the fight is so intense? I think its due to that shake effect used, any idea how to use a shake effect?

For example, something like: when a guy will hit another or miss and hit a wall or something, the whole picture will shake slightly .

You just have to move everything in that frame back and forth a bit.

I currently work at 18 fps, how many frames do you think I should bounce it for?

Well, you can get the trial version for 30 days.

Lucky for me my dad was able to get the college he works at to lend us one for "classes". I got the full version thanks to that =D

Eh, whatever looks right. Or what you can do is this, which works better but I somehow forgot about.
Take a look at this tutorial by Greg-Anims
http://img222.imageshack.us/my.php?image=7490711eyj5.swf

It shows how to use blurs to show impact, really good tut.

Also, try not to double post.

The first bounce is pretty good, but the other ones are way too high and too slow...

i may sound a bit harsh...but im just helping you and being constructive.

it was poor:
it was way too slow - unless the ball was ridiculously (and unrealistically) bouncy, it could never produce a bounce that high out of the speed it was going.

too many bounces - again, from the speed it was going, it wouldnt be able to get that many bounces.

too even/bounces too close together - your bounces sort of went like this (im gonna have to explain this so try and bear with me), say the peak height of the first bounce of the ball was about 7 metres...your bounces went like this: 7 metres, 6 metres, 5 metres, 4 metres etc until it landed, in reality, that doesnt happen. it should bounce high on its first one, but after that there should be a dramatic decrease in the height it bounces...
so it should go more like: 7 metres, 3 metres, 1 metre, tiny bounce, land.

in summary: make it faster, do less bounces and put the bounces further apart.

hope i helped

I don't see anything in this thread that would help me out with my little problem.
