yeah i am full of energy . this is first game i make so im very exicted :D

i can make the sig but i am not sure it will be good , actually i am sure it will suck :D lol

Lets make the camera like the original game. Making it two-directional would piss people off. Ikarhan, that means we will need diagonals. Se7en, I had an interesrting thought. When the options menu is designed, I would like the game to have the option of choosing between point-and-click movement and directional. maybe even have a hotkey for it.

The reason for this is because of a rather vexing problem for ranged characters. Have you ever gone to click on a strong melee enemy (or boss) and ended up walking up to it rather than attacking? Being able to quickly change between keypad and mouse movement would fix that problem. Chiefly, you would still be able to click to attack. (Melee characters will close in if they have a melee weapon or shoot with a ranged weapon, like in the original game. If you miss your click, the character wont move, and a message will tell you that you are in keypad mode.

The idea for the actual movement would be that if the player clicks in a direction that would not match the character angle, the character would instead move in two directions to reach the spot. I want to keep the sprite angles at 8 directions, so's we don't overwork Ikarhan. But I will leave the extra angles thing up to him. If he wants to do that, then we can. And good luck with the support sig...

ok i can make the hotkey/button for changing the control from mouse to keyboard and vise versa . i will start coding for it until you or ikarhan make the button design :)

EDIT: the code for moving in the 8 direction is ready i just need the sprite :D

I can do it actually but my animation isn't good so i need a sprite to code.

I'm okay with the 8 directional thingy. My school stops tomorrow and im gonna geek so hard, be ready. Imma sprite everything in a few days. And it will be so ducking complex but well.
We'll do extra angles for cinematics and tiny things like in a hidden passage or what.

So I'm going to make a game for my clan, something easy in Game Maker, so Ikarhan Can I make sprites In flash and export them as a gif ?
