You come out of a coma a few hours later to find yourself in a room below the lever/button room, with all that blood cleaned off. You may or may not be in Asia.

There is a present in front of you. Two ladders are attached to the wall. A hook is near the edge of the ravine on the wall. There's something on the ground behind you.
Obvious exits are SOUTH, EAST, and UP. There's also a large ravine at WEST, no bridge, with an exit on the other side.

Every intelligent man in this situation would open the present. It might even be a fitting tie matching his ninja bandana.
