View Profile It's the same theory I had long ago; that, if you could disregard build time and gold and mana cost, 80 swords would beat any other unit combos or unit masses there are.
Mage+Wall
Albows+anything
Mage+Albows
Bomber+wings
Wings+marrowkai
Scorch
Airs
Cycloids
Need I go on?

Massing units never works. If you want a decent combo, Speartons + Albowtrosses + Magikill + Giants + Merics. It's effective.
nah...shouldnt it be:
shadowrath + albows+ magikill+ guinats+ merics?

I disagree, Cycloid Mass can stun chain any mass other than giants for an instant victory, and can shield up loads to have a chance against Giants, as spell casters benefit greatly from drawn out fights as they get to re cast spells. Enough cycloid mass and only a Medusa mass played by someone superhuman at clicking stone face could contest it.

I use Speartons since they have armour, more health and can be fielded in larger numbers than Shadowrath and quicker, so I can rush past any giants to get to Magikill, Archers and Merics. Besides, with Magikill and Shadowrath, I find it difficult to use both to their full potential at the same time.

Agreed; although it may have worked to some extent during the age of order and chaos, elementals would easily rip through with cycloids; something that I hadn't considered.

View Profile cycloids are so awesome and water eles with upgraded heal is so good >_< it heals ALL health bar to FULL HEALTH.

Thats a really good point. When they have really high damaging units (albows) I'll use spears instead of ninjas. Besides we've all had our ninja killed by electric wall and blast before. Just one thing. How many speartons should be sent per magikill?
Ninjas of course will still be used to harass in mid-early game and against giants spammers, but using spears against magikill/merics seems like a very good idea.

magikills,
then you're seriously using them wrong, and having
spears against magikills are worse, because they're
anti-mass for their
explosion, poison spray, and
electric wall. If you're fighting a
mass of magikills with meric support by

And it would take a minimum of 16 minutes to make a full sword mass, while other units would take about a minimum of 8-10 minutes to make a full mass. So unless your opponent is incredibly illiterate, you're not gonna have time to make them.

That's why sword mass is only semi-viable if the sword masser is slightly more skilled than other player.
