I suggest that the OPs of threads have the ability to edit their own thread titles. It's really a real bitch not having that function. It seems you can only do it when people haven't posted in your thread yet.

Yeah, it just changes the title of your post, not the actual title of the thread.

Although one of the newer threads in the easytoon section had the thread title changed.

So...uh...*ahem*...
Is the title change a bug or is there some way to do it that actually changes the thread title and not the post title?

Well, you can change the title of your thread when no one has posted in it (as Real said earlier), but after that, it only changes your post title. it might be a bug. Maybe we should post it in the Sight Bugs thread.

Oh, well I'm pretty sure it is a bug, it doesn't really make sense if it was actually meant to be that way, to the Site Bugs thread!

We have to do something about the fact that there are at least five billion new posts in this thread each day that I have to wade through, most of which are dumbasses arguing over something stupid and trivial. My latest suggestion is that we find a way to fix this little problem. After all, I'm not on nearly as often as I used to be. Nowadays, it's once every 22 hours or so, for a brief period. A lot of posts come through here in that time, and oddly, mods don't seem to bother editing the first post when I'm not around. They love me like that.

But you know what's funny? At 20 posts per page (double the default), I went through four or five pages just now, and -- just the funniest thing -- there was one suggestion. Allow me to count that again for you: one. Okay, we're finished counting now, as there was only ONE.

So, to encourage people to shut the Hell up about irrelevant garbage and get back to making suggestions, how about I make a suggestion of my own? Under the Show Off area, why not make a section for user-created literature, poetry, and whatnot? Okay, it sounds a bit faggish, but it usually does okay on any sites I've ever seen it on. Besides, some people just really love to write. There are some truly creative minds here, I'm sure (at least... I hope there are).

Amwrong. So very wrong.

The NTF in its current form is stupid.

Well, this is a suggestion thread. If it's so stupid "in its current form", then explain how YOU would do it differently.

SoY, edit in my suggestion on page 25. Here's the quote.

Okay, I have a suggestion. Would it be possible to have a forum function that automatically locks a thread after a certain time of inactivity? For instance, if a thread has no one posting in it for, say, 1 month, it would automatically lock itself. That way, it would prevent noobs from coming in and bumping really old threads solely to get their post count up. And it'll save the mods some the trouble of binning the old threads that were bumped.

Get rid of it, the current system is fine.

Or maybe educate the current mods, so they can see who needs a ban.

Agree'd. We don't need regular members with nothing titles.

If the current system was fine, zulu wouldn't have decided this was necessary

And it's not a nothing title. Other members can currently do what I'll be doing, but evidently nobody was taking advantage of it. Or, again, zulu wouldn't have thought it was necessary.

It's as simple as this: If the mods don't know who to ban, they're doing it wrong!
