A loud gasp was geard from Iris as she could see the big gorila-like Fraysan going down the mountain, she shifted her crossbow into a 2-handed one and blasted the beast with a burst of arrows, she aimed at the kinds of holes that it had on its body, explosive, ice, and fire arrows were shot in order to inflict damage to the monster. "We gotta move!!, Everyone, try to run through one of it's sides while is distracted, hurry!" She yelled as she hoped that the arrows could get the monster's attention.

Mason watched as the rock slide started. He quickly started telekinetically grabbing at the rocks that came down and he attempted to chuck them at the beast. Straight at its head. and just for good measure he also attempted to mind control the monstrosity, so it would give less of a fight.

Explosions racked along the creature, ice tried to form but he quickly shattered it and freed itself. Fire exploded along it's body but it just seemed to absorb the flames.
Large rocks slammed into the beast who just smashed through them.
"I CAN FEEL YOU TRYING TO CONTROL ME! IF YOOSA COULDN'T TAKE MY MIND AFTER I CHANGED WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN!? DID SHOLDRA SEND YOU TO FINALLY DESTROY ME?"
The beast's own rage consumed it once more and it charged, ramming through any projectiles the group threw at it.

Mason reeled back from the shockwave of the creature's mental barrier. He had only gotten a brief glimpse into it's memories and all he saw was what seemed like a boy carrying an old man. Wait a goddamn minute...

Nikolai frowned at the coming rockslide and decidedly began to run, amidst shooting out his red hot projectiles at the monstrosity’s chest, causing explosions at it’s chest. As he saw the being begin to charge towards them at amazing speeds, he had an idea. A smile came to his face, and he grabbed Dante who was still holding Anna, running to the side of the monster. It was too busy focusing on raging towards the group of survivors to be worried about swiping at the sides, giving the trio room to run at the sides and imminently behind the monster. He turned towards the survivors and motioned for them to follow his lead.

"Let's run to his side!!, we gotta dodge it!, c'mmon Mason run!!!" Iris yelled as they started to run, not before Iris shot a smoke arrow big enough to blind the monster for a few seconds. "I hope that's enough for us to pass through..".

"Just one more thing!!" Mason shouted to Iris. He watched the arrow fly towards the monster, and as a following action he picked up plenty of rocks and shot them at all sides of the monsters head, to try and disorientate it even more. He started to follow Iris as quickly as he could

Everyone dodged to the side of the creature, who in it's smoke blinded rage didn't see the group juking it. The monster stopped after it realized that everyone had passed it and began to give chase through the winding path.



















A necrotically decayed being stood at the top of the mountain ridge watching. A smirk crept along their face as a single black eye stared down into the chasm.

Run just run, Sebastian repeated in his head as he ran alongside Iris, his shield secured on his arm, it could block the odd average rock and pebble, but a heavy blow will knock him flat and probably be the end of him. Smoke, bullets, and rocks were all blocking and interfering with the beast, so they should have a chance to break through. What the monster said still bothered him. He shook off the feeling as they passed by and kept running. However the sound of heavy pounding signaled that the beast was following. "Shit..." He hissed through his teeth. He didn't dare look back, he kept his eyes forward and on the path, no tripping for him.

The party sprinting away with the monster hot on their heels. Through his heavy breathing Michael saw the shadows on the mountain walls caused by the torch seeming to dance in glee.
What the fuck is going on? the soldier thought.

Nikolai tripped and landed roughly, smacking his chin on the stone of the path. Turning to see what had tripped him he only saw the shadows caused by the torch with the beast approaching quickly behind them.

Iris sped up, pushing herself hard to escape the monster and gain some fighting distance. She saw the sign ahead signifying the fork in the road they had taken, only there was a little girl standing in front of the sign looking directly at her. She was crying and her eyes were black.
"Please help me... I don't want to die..."

Nikolai looked behind him with disdain as the monster made a U-turn, noticing that the monster that had been consistently giving them a hard time had finally took notice that he was charging at nothing but air. He growled and began his charge once more with a mighty roar, sprinting down the winding path and following the group of survivors.

“Come on, KEEP RUNNING!” He yelled to everyone, his face red, and suddenly, Dante stopped, and gave him the child. Nikolai’s eyes flickered with sadness, and he looked down at the child. “Dante…What are you doing?”

He had to keep running for Anna. However as he turned back forward, various things rushed through his brain. He couldn’t deal with the fact that Dante was there alone, tired and weak, fighting this mutilated Fraysan fuck. He couldn’t deal with even the thought that she might die. It was crippling him, and he had no idea why. Suddenly, he fell forward, with Anna in his grasp, smacking his chin against the stone but the folds of his trench coat saving Anna from any harm. He rolled forward, immediately standing upright once more before he looked back to see what had tripped him up. However, all he saw was the dancing shadows of the torches of the night. They almost seemed…alive.

“What the hell is going on,” He muttered to himself, before continuing to run at a fast pace.

"A child here??? What? Why?, and how?" Iris found no answer to her questions but there was something sure, her warm and kind heart can't let a small child on her own when the whole bloody mountain is falling apart. She managed to dodge the falling rocks and quickly took the child between her arms and craddled the little girl with her as she kept sprinting forwards.

"Please help... I don't want to die... I'm scared." The little black hair girl whimpered grabbing on tightly to Iris, wrapping her arms around her neck in a tight embrace. Only then did Iris feel the sticky oil leaking out of a hole in the girl's back.
"Please help. I'm scared. Now die." The little girl then exploded in a blaze of power and fire sending Iris flying backwards, her leg and several ribs completely broken and her quiver landing 10 feet behind the monster.

Mason was blown aback by the little girl exploding. He managed to stay on his feet, but Iris took the blunt of it, disconnecting her from her quiver. "Sebastian! Get her out of here, I've got the quiver!" Mason looked at the beast head on as it was charging. Dante, Nikolai and Anna were the closest, but they'd be out fine... he hoped. Mason sank his claws into the wall, and created his own force field out of rubble and surrounded himself with it in a large bubble. He ran down the wall, if the monster was going to stop him at least the rocks would slow the impact. He clawed his way across as quickly as he could.

"WHAT TH--" Iris's sentence was interrupted for an explosion, she only heard the shockwave and she heard her bones cracking inside of her, after rolling on the ground she finally landed backwards and attempting to move her body she realised her state, when she ttied to talk a small burst of blood came out of her mouth and coughed heavily, she looked around for her crossbow but it wasn't with her... suddenly all the pain came to her and she couldn't help but scream as loud as her throat and broken ribs let her, the pain... was unbearable.
