I don't give a fuck about some black guy dying because he put himself in a bad situation. People are ignorant as fuck and I'm just thankful shit doesn't happen where I live.

Wow, I'm more and more beginning to think you're not a joking racist. But in fact, a legitimate racist.

I think he is one of the people currently being pushed into racism by people equating hatred towards an concept to hatred towards a race.

I could be wrong though, and he might be just a stone cold bigot like our two other friends in the armed forces, Cook and Ashlander.

From what I read (once again correct me if I'm wrong) that Baltimore has mostly peaceful protests atm, but there's a bunch of rioters and looters taking advantage of it and fucking shit up, and the police are not hurting anyone innocent and only keeping the rioters in line.

After 6 years of asking my parents for a tablet, they've finally bought me one!

Now all I have to do is get to this. It feels really weird like my canvas is about to run out but it doesn't and the whole "let it float a bit" to move it without making it left click is somewhat a pain in the ass. After that, well, I'm going to move on to fullbody!

This is great news for you, dude. Can't wait to see your new work on this. I actually know a few people who really reached the full flowering of their artistic gifts when they started working full-time on a proper, functional tablet.

Thanks a lot man!

I'm going to miss animating stickfigures but I'm planning to get into the animation industries(Preferably Bones) but the whole going to Japan thing can wait until I fully learn art. My plan is that I would first master the basics of art(Human) then move on to getting used to animating them. By that time, I should have graduated from Engineering so I'll further pursue my passion by taking art classes to improve my skills and knowledge.

I'm keeping my ambitions in check and my goals as realistic as possible.

Never, ever, EVER miss animating stickfigures, Zero. That is a dead-end skill and unless it is a gateway to making more fulfilling animations, in 99% of the cases you are better saying goodbye to it. But yeah, hone your craft, learn your art, sharpen your skills. Try making plans for your future in small steps and not big ones. Keep putting together a killer portfolio and sending them out to people who might look at it.

Techinically you'll still be doing stickfigure, atleast in the beginning of a project when you're laying down the first layer via guidlines you know.

Mastering the basics of art is a pretty hard thing, I think you'd still be able to make some decent animations even if you're still learning the human basics, hell most people would say it'd help you in mastering them. What type of tablet did you get?

I know, that's why I'm leaving it all behind.

It's just that it was my foundation you know? It helped me a lot in understanding the very basics of basics in animation so not missing them would be disrespectful to the knowledge I obtained from them. Well, that's what I think.

Haha, true but at least it won't be as simple as a stickfigure.

I got an Intuos Manga from Wacom. I wanted to check out other tablets but it was the only one available.

EDIT: I don't show off much but at the very least, I'd like to post a smoke I just made tonight. Half(Beginning) of it was mouse while the other half(end) was from the tablet. I'd say I got lazy in terms of using the tablet.

What do you guys think?

EDIT 2: Also, fucking tablet's man. Using the mouse took a long ass time but using the tablet roughly halved the time I needed to make the smoke in mouse.

The trails coming directly toward the camera look pretty weird, not sure why they shifted to the left halfway through it, but other than that it's pretty cool.
