I wrote that post in an extreme hurry because I was really fucking late, and I forgot to include Penguindrum and Nichijou. Penguindrum is probably one of the better shows of the past year, in my opinion. It's just more complete and solid.

Madoka universally holds the title of AOTY (2011), and some people think it's the greatest series of all time. Actually, a lot of people do. Way too many. It's way fucking overrated. It had the best sales of all time, everyone includes it in their top 9, and it's treated like a masterpiece and compared to Evangelion. I think it's 8/10, also don't judge it by its cover because it's more of a tragedy/drama than a "magical girl series"

I was pretty obsessed with S;G when it was airing and bought Dr. Pepper and a SERN t-shirt; now I think I was (am) kind of a faggot who got overhyped. It does explain what's happening in the first couple episodes thoroughly. It gets more serious as it progresses, while the early episodes are more comedic while laying the foundation for later plot.

I watch series I don't think will be good, because I just enjoy self-inserting into shit like IS

I listed Another mainly because of the dancing scene
gosick had weak early-episode mysteries, but the romance & drama was what made the show for me. The episodes near the end are some of the best I've seen. Great conclusive ending, which is rare for anime.
C is underrated as fuck because it had a really low budget/poor animation, but I thought everything else was good to great
Penguindrum is solid in all aspects and has an intricate plot that is well executed
milky holmes is only for people with high powerlevels

Fate/Zero, Chihayafuru, Hyouge Mono, and T&B are supposed to be excellent, but, y'know, I haven't actually watched them
